The Grey Pilgrim captures the nature of Gandalf often overlooked. He was the most well travelled wizard from the Istari order, and the most involved with the many races across Middle-earth. He would humbly walk to his destination, braving the weather, perhaps with some magical protection. He was not human and perhaps immortal, but his love of life shows he shared many mortal qualities like his love of food and smoking and good company. Nicknamed Stormcrow by some, due to his habit of bringing ill tidings about evil across the land, seeking to forewarn leaders so they could counter the threats, he was constantly on the move, seeking out secrets that would aid his mission, to balance the threat from Sauron and give life a chance to survive his tyranny.
