I’ve only just seen this strand – very sorry to hear of your loss, Gildor, and especially of things to which you’re emotionally atached. Sadly the world is full of garbage, and a lot of it walks around on two legs. I had my entire car stolen complete with its contents a few years ago, and though the car was eventually recovered only the stuff in the boot hadn’t been taken. I’ve always locked everything in the boot ever since.
