MZ749 : Shirriff Lotho

Lotho began his dominance of the Shire by selling his crops of pipe-weed to Saruman at Isengard. In order to protect his growing interests he began to employ Dunlendings and other Mannish Ruffians who were actually in the pay of Saruman. By this means he gained effective control of much of the Shire. When Saruman himself eventually arrived in the Shire he no longer needed chief Lotho whom he imprisoned and later had murdered.

Only 50 of these figures are produced at this time. This is the 225th release in the Gold Status Fellowship club. This is the February/March 2025 winning Fellowship idea suggested by member “Agenor“. This is the thirty-eight fully UV resin release. Mithril is offering a choice between primed and unprimed. This release is in three pieces so assembly is required. It is 32mm scale. The base has the manufacturer name MITHRIL, the sculptor’s name and creation date and MZ number on the bottom and trade mark notice for Middle-earth Enterprises.
