September 26, 2010 at 11:34 am #12142So it does … ok.
I named this thread “Haradan cavalry” because a Haradan cavalry does exist though I never knew of it until last week. But I do have to explain.
All these figures are conversions and were never sold and never will be. They arrived at my place after a long journey which took them about a year. They originally are from N.N. but were passed on to me by another Mithril-friend, Master Presto. – Though I still don’t know why he decided to give these marvels away to me for free. So let me thank here both of them. Not forgetting to thank Mr Chris Tubb. N.N. told me today that all this does exist because of “the Great Energy Force Evoked By Chris Tubb.”September 26, 2010 at 11:37 am #12143So, just some more pictures …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_4th.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_4th.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_1st.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_1st.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_5th.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_5th.jpg[/imgz]
September 26, 2010 at 11:47 am #12144Having a closer look at each figure you’ll clearly see that each of those conversions reveil an individual figure. Many different parts of old Mithril miniatures were used to create that individuality of each of the figures.
I would like to point out that this again for me is what I called part of “Mithril History”. Just as the “Númenorian Army”, the “Fire wagon” and the “Dunlending chariot” are. Not to mention other single conversions by N.N. of which I already provided pictures here.September 26, 2010 at 11:50 am #12145Of course I still try to take more and better pictures of the figures to give you a better impression. But … I cannot haste, you know.
September 26, 2010 at 12:01 pm #12146I once provided pictures of those two riders once. So, the scimitars again.

September 26, 2010 at 12:03 pm #12147the one with a javelin …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_13n_-_javelin_2ndjpg.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_13n_-_javelin_2ndjpg.jpg[/imgz]

September 26, 2010 at 12:08 pm #12148Then I think the idea of having a Haradan heavy cavalry armed with lances makes very much sense. So the lancer-figure here
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_14th_lancer.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_14th_lancer.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_16th_lancer.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_16th_lancer.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_15the_lancer.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_15the_lancer.jpg[/imgz]
September 26, 2010 at 12:12 pm #12149The quality of the pics is decreasing, meseems.
So, let’s just have a look at the officer with a lance[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_18th_officer_with_lance.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_18th_officer_with_lance.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_19th_officer_w_lance_2nd.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_19th_officer_w_lance_2nd.jpg[/imgz]
September 26, 2010 at 12:21 pm #12151Yes, I know that lances tend to bend a bit when they have to be travelled and send for some thousand miles. Someday I’ll find the time to correct that better. Mind that one of the lance-camel riders is more than 11 cm.
Hmm … that good-old-grey-spray still is fine.I hope you enjoyed it a bit having had a look at these things. I will try to pass on more pictures of the figures if you want to and if time permits.
September 26, 2010 at 7:57 pm #12164Those are nice and detailed pictures dear Master Ent…. and magnificent figures… In this moment I’m finished watching movie “Kingdom of Heaven” and they look like a great Saladin army…. on his way to Jerusalem
Please send those pictures to Gildor so he can put them in conversion gallery… than we could see them without spending lots of time… to find a long forgotten topic…. no necessary…. hooooooommmm
I like N.N.’s work
September 27, 2010 at 8:31 am #12171You have very kind friends Master Ent.:lol:
This set is very nice. I also say it must be added to Conversion Gallery.September 27, 2010 at 8:22 pm #12186So these are one of a kind, never to be available. That is too bad for us all! When I first saw the picture, I hoped that it was a preview an upcoming release, those are very nice haradan.
September 28, 2010 at 10:55 am #12195W H A T I S T H A T ! ?
I have never seen such great figures. Absolutely great conversions and especially one of my absolutely favourite ranges: Far Harad.
Thank you, Master Tree for making us happy. Also for the fine quality of the photographs, as Master Thingol pointed out.
PS: Let´s watch out for the Esgaroth-guardsman . . . 😎
October 8, 2010 at 7:05 pm #12332Sorry for the delay with it, but … I promised to put on some pics of those camel-riders.
(The first pics I took were very poor, that’s why I did not provide them.) By now I will try to give some better, more detailed impressions of the Camel-riders of the Haradan Cavalry.October 8, 2010 at 7:59 pm #12335See, I’m a bit helpless by now. Why me?
Thank you so very much, NN and Michael, thank you very much indeed. – But why to heap up all that ‘Mithril-history’ upon me? – If you read this, did you ever thought of the price of a new glass-cabinet I will have to order? … huommm … right, I understood, that it’s my problem …October 8, 2010 at 8:13 pm #12336😆 ! Without any comment !
October 16, 2010 at 1:51 pm #12376Sorry, I just witnessed that the latest pictures I provided could not be popped-up in detail. So I deleted them and will have another try of providing pics of the two camel-rider-conversions by N.N.
