i’m not sure the word “interesting” is the one I am currently thinking about
October 25, 2017 at 10:29 am #36477“expensive ” might be more likely the word Master Gildor is thinking about…
October 25, 2017 at 10:29 am #36478The last 7 bids look like a duel between an hobbit and an elf
October 25, 2017 at 10:36 am #36479well i have not placed a single bid yet
fact is, i am currently wondering if it’s worth it… I may have to end up selling some of my “rarities” if I am ever to bid and win this auction… too bad the guy was not interested in trading rarities
I may have to part with some duplicate MX, discontinued MS, morlas or born of hope…
October 25, 2017 at 1:30 pm #36480I only need a M16 in blister for a 3D scan. Mine is painted with time and gaming little damages (with a genuine sword )
October 25, 2017 at 1:38 pm #36481Master Mornedhel, why do you need a 3D scan? Do you want to print her?
October 25, 2017 at 2:28 pm #36482My project is to scan all my collection (in fact scanned by a professional company) for modeling alternate figures just for me.
Then printing with Multijet Fusion technologyOctober 25, 2017 at 4:24 pm #36483Bloddy awesome!!!:cool::cool:
Conversions on the PC! Printed done! Love it!October 25, 2017 at 4:29 pm #36484Well, as for the current price for “the Lady” we shouldn’t be too much surprised, I think. The figure still is in blister, so in best condition as one can guess. Look at the price in the database here: It is 358,45 € (as an average price). So you still might regard the current bidding as a (kind of) bargain, especially if you try to remember how “often” the figure was offered in such a condition. I do not remember a single offer like that.
October 25, 2017 at 4:31 pm #36485Mornedhel, now that’s a very interesting idea you have there.
October 25, 2017 at 7:32 pm #36486I notice that the incomplete unblistered copy is still unsold and currently BIN at £125!
October 25, 2017 at 7:57 pm #36487well i have an unpainted M16 but ‘loose’ master mornedhel, if I win this one I could let you borrow my unblistered one… borrow only of course :p

October 26, 2017 at 8:43 pm #36489Congratulations if it was one of ‘us’ who won
October 26, 2017 at 8:44 pm #36490So… who is the lucky winner ? For 370 GBP
October 26, 2017 at 9:02 pm #36493well the winners, for M10, M16 and M18 Mint in Blisters are among MMP , most definitly

October 26, 2017 at 9:12 pm #36495wise words indeed !
October 27, 2017 at 5:13 am #36498I am not the lucky one, too expensive for now
October 27, 2017 at 8:48 am #36500well I honestly can say I won the M10 and M18 (and I’m quite happy about that considering my M18 had his sword broken, it’s quite fragile at the sword base)
the M16 going away around 415€ MIB considering its average price “loose” is 358€ makes it a logical and “fair” price for its value, even if indeed quite expensive that remains t he M16 after all.
Only the full set of MW346 & 347 (~1100€) , Chr1988 (1250€) & 1992 (500€) seem to have a higher price value.
the three white 54mm prototypes have an approximate value of 330€ each I’d say. and Dwar of Waw is around 200€ as well
Other prototypes I think have slightly less value (when they have one) : Chr1990 is around 200€, Chr1993 has lost a lot of its value since PA retrieved some stock and is selling it…And there are of course other never-sold prototypes which have no value and it should remain so I suppose… (I mean, putting them value would mean they change hands on ebay and we can’t always say if it’s for the better… so better they remain without market value )
Some curiosity here :
– I wonder how Morlas ever ended up getting a value of 110€ as it seems to be mentionned in our database (Milo have you seen it at this price on ebay once??)
– How is it that “Born of Hope” has an indicative value of 200€ ? It has never showed up on ebay, and certainly never will, I should know -
