Don’t panic, I don’t sell my collection

I was just contacted yesterday by a french collector who knows my site (well it’s becoming a reference in the domain…) but he’s not at all versed into english. He wants to sell hiscollection and is in search of authentic collector buyers and asked me to help find people for that..

I agreed to act as intermediary between him and MMP community. I will get his collection listing by sunday. about prices he would use the official price charts provided here (by zoetrop) and indeed apply “bundle” prices for large sales.

If there is someone interested you can begin to manifest yourself though I don’t know the extent of the collection, I just know there is no M16…

Well … m30 and chr1997 and MX421 are my greatest quest to finish my collection, so I’ll be very,very interested if they are part oF the set.

Gildor, you might know that I definitely won’t be interested in puchasing any more figures (even if the collection includes an M16 and then, of course, other rare figures). I don’t need the figures and I will not get into the way of our friends here who are in need of them. That’s what you can take for sure. – But you know what I’m asking. Who? – A personal message or an email will do, as I’m afraid there’s the name of one person back in my mind. – Just think it over.

i’m interested, too—but no purchases before mid- or end february, have to sort out a few orders i reserved with milo first.

other than that—m49, mw346 and mw347 stuff, plus ms437 and loads of entries until m350 …

Thank you ,Gildor, for answering right away here. That name you provided doesn’t tell me anything. –

But I have to thank you for about taking your time providing such a sale here just as being an “intermediary” as you called it.
I do hope that many of our company might get some figures they are in need of. Let’s hope the best.
Though … I would rather suggest to keep calm at the moment. Which means “Don’t haste” – That’s what I would like to suggest.
As for the thought I mentioned about the seller I had in my mind, the one I was thinking of in my last entry … I am relieved. It’s not him I first thought of. Good to know.
Just keep on, Master Gildor … pass on the prices, please, so that good old Master Zoetrop can again update his catalogue a 3rd time … though … to be honest … he does it regularly every year and again …

so I’ve got the list in a Word file all mixed up I am rebuilding up and translating the missing parts for him… quite a work
it goes up from M1 to M399, with lots of holes, lots of Painted figurines or striped ones but also Blistered ones… including MW336 and MW337 still in blister case from the list… now one will have to ask details as to know if it is really the case
I will reply to him with the corrected list to ask if I did not make any mistake than forward the list to MMP

he did not provide prices as he wants to use the price mentionned on this site database and adapt the price to the condition (blistered, or painted, or stripped or missing parts)

he has an idea of what he wants but he lets the collectors telling him what they want and what they are willing to pay for it…

some update : M217, M221, M295, M311, M313, M330, M331, M333, M334 have been sold
and M157, M177, M199, M301, M341, M3554, M361 et M393 are no more in pristine blister (an accident…)
