20 years …So that means around a week for each teeth ! 😆
Well done Master Erchamion. You chose very good color scheme. And I agree flaming is well executed.
My 7 years old son congratulates you also.March 11, 2013 at 8:27 am #27312…. you need to slightly increase the painitng acceleration into a “Warp” drive
very nice painitnig work Master Erchamion… very nice… !
March 11, 2013 at 8:49 am #27313Well, I will tell you the story of this figure. In the early nineties I made a trip to Barcelona and I used to go to the shop so longed Juegos sin Fronteras. There I bought it and I liked it so much that I was “afraid” to paint because my technique was not very good. I waited to learn to paint better, I was assembled only figure in my cabinet, until …… now.
Thanks to a project I have with a few friends (and I will tell you later) I have dared to paint now.
And, yes, of course each of we have a vision of the Balrog (something contaminated, if may say so, since we “saw” in the movies really). Always I had in my mind this character with these colors (red brown).
I’m glad you like it!
March 13, 2013 at 12:20 pm #27321i like it a lot — also the color gradient on the sword, a nice break from the usual flame pattern that the majority uses.
March 13, 2013 at 12:38 pm #27324Excellent use of colours, Master Erchamion. And yes, as it was pointed out before, the way you painted the sword really is something special – a brilliant idea.
March 13, 2013 at 2:41 pm #27328I like it!! The sword looks like it is glowing!
May 6, 2013 at 9:30 am #27735Well, this weekend, in my club, we have represented a battle on the Lord of the Rings (Battle of Azanulbizar). We hadn´t play many years ago to this rules. My friends have GW figures basically, but I, as could not be otherwise, “introducing” variants …….. Mithril’s ones, of course ….

¿Someone discovers some other Mithril figure?

May 6, 2013 at 1:18 pm #27736Great job Master Erchamion. I always like to see mithrils fighting others ! 😆
May 6, 2013 at 9:09 pm #27744Very nice !
May 7, 2013 at 8:28 pm #27757Always the right decision placing mithril. And that Azog looks really good!
May 8, 2013 at 9:08 am #27762very pretty. As Turambar has said, Azog looks great.
May 8, 2013 at 12:07 pm #27763Respect, Master Erchamion. – I am sure that Thorin and Balin fought well on the side of the Dwarven units in that battle of Azanulbizar. Though … where’s Gloin? (I cannot see him in any of the pics.)
Anyway, it’s good to know that someone still tries to introduce Mithrils among GW- war-gamers or table-toppers.
Though it was said before, I have to state that I do like your “Azog-version” very much. – Keep on, please.May 8, 2013 at 6:51 pm #27770Do you ask for Gloin? Hmmm, I have no record that Gloin was slicing heads in this battle …..
It was my understanding they were Thrain, Thorin, Dain and Náin the dwarves lords who participated in the same ……. What place is named that Gloin was present at the battle? (simple curiosity of Tolkien´s scholar, Master Tree). But of course, ALL of Middle-earth dwarves participated is this battle …….May 8, 2013 at 7:17 pm #27771May 8, 2013 at 10:05 pm #27778Very Nice!!
