Well, if you really look at the M70 elf he is shooting upwards in a way. He lived in Mirkwood and they had a lot of large spiders that lived in the trees.
The Haldir mini is, of course, not as detailed, but it is still Haldir! I want them both and the Lothlorien elves looked different too. That is my two cents.:cool:

My opinion. Sometimes he is probably having to sculpt something that he does not feel like sculpting that week, also if the suggestions by the members leave him plenty of room to use his own imagination and experience then he will produce a better sculpt. Descriptions by some members are extremily detailed, they leave little room for interpretation.

I am also unhappy with Haldir — he somehow (uggh, sorry) looks like a GW miniature, apparently also matching the face from the movies (which — the movies that is — I am not very fond of, personally, no offense meant). The M70 has more of a fascinating, unsettling, “Faerie” character to it; Haldir looks, well, like a miniature of a human actor who likes to spend his time at the Pony.

Ahhh, that´s good to hear!!!!!!!!! There is no postman between Germany and the U.S. who is a mithril-maniac!
