Thanks for sharing your work, Green stuff – Yuk! Magic Sculpt is my favourite and it tastes nicer than Miliput

Not Magic sculpt Arthadan, Super Sculpey yes, but MS is a two part substance which supposedly has an infinite life – it can be blasted in the microwave to soften it up but i have forgotten for how long.
I find MS appears to hold detail better than Miliput.
February 2, 2010 at 11:08 pm #8739. . . let´s found some mistakes here . . .
Ha ha- where is the scabbard of this warrior . . .February 3, 2010 at 7:27 am #8741I’m sure that master Arthadan will stick scabbard on this nice figure…
February 3, 2010 at 9:33 am #8742Of course I will, even if it’s going to be no easy task with the cloack. I’ve figured out a position which may work, Also, I’ll cut the handle of the knife in his belt, so the remaining scabbard would look like is empty because the dagger in his left hand.
Thanks for pointing me out!
The haradrim has his scabbard is in the wrong side, but that’s Mr. Tubb to blame. It wold be too much hassle to cut it from the leg and place it right, so I’m not going to change it (I’m not THAT picky). 😆
August 7, 2011 at 3:44 pm #19267I sure took my time, but here he is:
Behold the scabbard!

August 7, 2011 at 8:08 pm #19277Step by step …. Hopefully soon we will see the end of this excellent conversion…
January 24, 2014 at 6:56 pm #29733Some new stuff (sorry for the big pics)!
First a Prince August mould miniature that I cast long time ago. Metal was too hot and some details didn’t came out well hence the new head, axe and no central part on the shield. I’ve sculpted the higher hand and the mane and some filling here and there.
I think it looks like a Northman mercenary rather than a Rohir because the two handed axe doesn’t seem very Rohirric-like to me.

And now a plastic Wargames factory miniature I have been having some fun with:
