Nice work Sam, I am glad I do not know how to handle any weapon.
I prefer to raise a glass & use a fork ! 😆March 27, 2020 at 11:45 am #38612Milo wrote:Nice work Sam, I am glad I do not know how to handle any weapon.
I prefer to raise a glass & use a fork ! 😆Thanks Master Milo !

Thank you for sharing it with us.Many Thnaks Master Fabrice for your kind words.
It’s a pleasure for me to share my humble work here, where so many great artists are.Maenas wrote:hahaha Love the one with the hawk! Really who said there weren’t going to be a Hobbit WB box?? Great work master Sam!Thanks Master Maenas! It was not so easy to add the arm with the hawk ( from a 1/72 plastic figure).
I had to put a metal pin in the figure. A quite good experiment for me cause I’m not an expert with conversions.A WB box ? er… they are so rare, consider that those ones are only “prototypes”.
I’m not sure that they will be casted in the future.April 10, 2020 at 10:23 am #38654Oh, I missed the Hobbit falconer….. very small picture…. for my old eyes
Love the birds of prey! Very well done!:cool:April 10, 2020 at 10:39 am #38655hsf62 wrote:Oh, I missed the Hobbit falconer….. very small picture…. for my old eyes
Love the birds of prey! Very well done!:cool:Thanks Master Holger !
I will try to put a closer picture for your “old eyes” !
I like those birds too.April 10, 2020 at 10:57 am #38656[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/862_img_20200330_172044.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/862_img_20200330_172044.jpg[/imgz]

For the eyes of Master Holger !
(and I’ve seen that I’ve not really finished the paintwork : highlights etc… are missing )SORRY : I don’t know why the second picture is so large ..
I fund pictures of the falconer before painting :

I’ve remove the arm and add the one with hawk + a bag on the side to hide the missing right arm … and because a bag is always useful !
April 10, 2020 at 4:26 pm #38657Thank you very much Master Sam! The second picture is just fine for my old eyes!:lol:
Great work!July 1, 2020 at 4:49 pm #38847Hope you don’t mind me adding to your thread Master Samwise, but as we are talking of hobbit conversions…. . Just a little project that I am working on . Still have to add some bits to these hobbits. It is a small scene of the hobbits arriving at Bree that they are intended for – I had hoped they were leading the ponies, LOL, then I re-read the passage and saw that they are riding them, so out with the saw and modelling putty

You’re welcome in the Conversion Shire, Master ddaines !
Waouh ! what a great project ! The return to the Shire is one of my preferred part of the book… unfortunately, for what I know, mostly missed in the Mithril Range
It’s more than conversions : this is sculpting ! Well done ! I’m impatient to see the next steps of your work …
