Thanks for your kind words everyone. I, too. just enjoy looking at the work of others. Great job Zoetrop and David. I would like to see others, so I’ve posted some more of my entries…here’s M478.

And here’s M479. Most of the rest of the series looked to me like they needed to be on a ship and there’s no way I could have made a nice picture without one. I know that there are plenty of good painters out there…any other takers for this gallery?!

I was too busy getting ready for a bigger painting competition over here that was this last weekend (which is where I’ve been for the last few days). Mithril was well represented at the show, by the way, at least by me.

Wow, these are some amazing images. I am a little envious that I couldn’t enter (was too poor – and Imrahil was my priority). But you guys would have blown me out of the water. I’ll probably wait till after the Knights of Dol Amroth come out to go get myself a Corsair set (and their admiral).

Still: bloody awesome, folks.

Old topic, new post…. Estel I like your choice of colors and painting stile. Darker scenes are more familiar to whole middle earth atmosphere… I use also lots of mat colors ( I like Humbrol enamel ) and only occasionally I put big contrasts in color scheme on my figures. Some elf have rapturously color scheme but there are only few of them. Anyway nice painting works.

I would try to put some of my pictures soon. I must just find a skill how to do it… your works from mithril.ie fan galleries are real nice. I have also seen your web compliments
