Well as for me I commented that offer on Ebay item nr 200195490635
someone (hsf62?) gave a hint before
I said that one should mind that some of the (many) figures offered there are incomplete (parts are missing) and that one should mind the high costs for shipping

Then I said that obviously driztdourden is trying again with some of the Half-orcs of the Mw347 army

I see dritz’s eBay Mw347s aren’t attracting much attention again. Just one bid thus far. His opening prices are just way too high to attract people. I’m surprised he hasn’t learnt that yet.

I think he does not care a lot… Ebay is far from being his only “pool” of customers. He lives in the north of France, Lille I think. there is quite some market for him in this place… in shops too, and he has a collector address book well filled

It’s thanks to him that I finished my collection… but that was costly for me…

Lille is correct … yes, quite costly. In the past he always bought more than one set of those figures Chris sold privately though I didn’t watch any auction that closely. What surprises me is the range of the Mw346-figures he offers. Twice they’ve been the same and many of that warband are missing there. I’m not sure if he keeps some more, as there should be some others.
I also traded with him more than once.

the “command” set , none others. If not, well… I have missed a dramatic sale ..

Wise Ent M73 has the camel , it is M74 (also being sold by Bugger!) that is minus the humped beast.

ah camel riders.. what we need is a set of eagles Gandalf on the back of Gwaihir… now that is an idea!!! I shall submit it to the GF next time a mounted figurine is suggested! (if you allow me this, and I hope there would be support)

That is a worthy suggetsion Gildor – a long overdue release. To date I have not yet painted any of the Eagles although the scene of the Hobbits being rescued is ‘on the list’, and if that were a release it would be a welcome one at that.

What did I hear? Eagles???? Great idea my wandering Elf. You will have my support for sure. These flying creatures are my favorite of all. I just hope Chris will put more effort into the new design then he did with the last eagles he created. I know he can do a lot better then that.

well he could use more texturing for the aspect of feathers, the former eagles were too… smooth..

Now, a Gandalf, wind blowing in his beard , robe cloak and maybe hat… that would be amazing, definitly an idea to submit for GF

It could use a straight metal rod as support for the base, like some of the ancient eagles had

Gandalf without hat hair in the wind would be nice too. who goes for a ride (flight) wearing a hat? And yes, more texturing for the aspect of feathers! The details make the difference!

Does anybody know this seller Bugger! He’s from Holger’s neck of the woods. (AUS) He has lots of groupings up for sale, and is familiar enough with Mithrils to sell the rarest ones seperately. (For the most part). Great opportunities for those with big gaps in their collections.
