July 31, 2011 at 8:40 pm #19166ha ha, I see you managed to achieve this long term painting. You shall envy noone here regarding painting skills. Great work Gildor !
I will have to achieve & show also my long term one ‘carrock’ as for you, “in the end I admit I am a bit fed up” (just a little , mosly caus’ of dwarves small size…especially when looking at my glass cabinets!)

August 3, 2011 at 1:47 pm #19222WOW !
That looks absolute fantastic, Master Gildor. Good colour choice. the metal parts are also well done.
A brilliant figure, by the way!August 3, 2011 at 2:05 pm #19223Awesome figure…. great painting job, Master Gildor… all compliments… !!!!!! I will buy this figure… which company cast this Norse Lord….
August 3, 2011 at 3:06 pm #19224this is Andrea Miniatures, it is 54mm though
not fitting for mithriland thanks a lot my friends for your comments
… I seem to be more gifted at paintaing 54mm than 32
… maybe that’s why I am desperatly looking for all those mithril 54mm treasures…. though ironically I don’t intend to paint them…August 3, 2011 at 4:12 pm #19225Great miniature, very well sculpted with all the details … and an excellent painting.
August 3, 2011 at 6:27 pm #19226Andrea miniatures… I was try to find it but without success… which range is it…. I’m really interested to buy this great figure… and about painting my 54 mm figures … I also think that I’m better painter with my 54 mm figures…
August 3, 2011 at 6:37 pm #19227it is a new range from andrea, the viking ones, there are only three references so far, this one is the second
August 3, 2011 at 7:12 pm #19228I’m going to look at. I have several Vikings in my drawer. One more would be welcome
August 3, 2011 at 8:08 pm #19229You buy that figure, Master Nino?!
I will do the same . . .
August 3, 2011 at 8:27 pm #19230impressive… I then suppose you REALLY like this one (I admit it could be both historical and Heroic Fantasy) I really enjoyed painting it, it’s a great king on his throne
August 4, 2011 at 7:58 pm #19242He looks like Helm Hammerhand to me. Great painting!
August 4, 2011 at 9:54 pm #19244Wulf at Edoras?
. They all look well painted Gildor. This last figure is very nice and a good price too if you compare it as a 54mm figure with throne etc. it is only about 6 euros dearer than a GF figure!!! :rolleyes:August 4, 2011 at 10:58 pm #19245It is only about 6 euros dearer than a GF figure!!!
This is the truth!
August 5, 2011 at 7:20 am #1924727,95 Euros…. for metal figure…. only 10 times heavier….
August 5, 2011 at 1:25 pm #19249be aware though that for economy purpose the corpse of the lord is not complete… the back of the body is well, “totally flat, and the interior of the throne is hollow, thus in the end , assembled it does not make any difference but with separate parts the body looks odd as it is cast “diagonnaly” and with flat back (no butt, no back, no thighs….)
August 5, 2011 at 10:18 pm #19254. . don´t disentchant this marvellous figure, Master Gildor!

Who want´s to hear the TRUTH ?
L.E. won´t . . .
