I checked the Orc warband. 3 ref were missing but mine had these in extra.
So I mixed both warbands and managed to make 2 full set, both also containing an extra figure: A5d variant “Running, spear over head, bare-head”, which are perfect casts from Time Machine.
November 20, 2011 at 2:30 pm #21780Indeed A5D is that rare one of the orcs. When the MW336 army was sold in their special boxes first, it was only the “Orc-army” boxes which were provided with a more or less coincidential (or accidential) set. That never was the same for the Gondorian Warband, that’s why the Mw336 trouble comes from. There have been different ways of packing the boxes. Of course there was the command group first, then orcs. Somehow A5D was not included in every box, as there were more ors casted than there was space in the box. – Many years ago I bought two original boxes which proved this. In one of the two there was the A5D. The box was still originally sealed, when I received it.
As for “Time Machine” castings of the two warbands I would like to state that those were no recasts, as “Time Machine” had the license to cast the figures.
That’s all I can tell about this matter.November 20, 2011 at 3:41 pm #21782recast changed to cast in my sentence master Ent.
I checked the Gondor warband, It’s true this one is totally identically to mine. So it confirms again that the mix is on Orcs warband only.
November 20, 2011 at 7:18 pm #21785if you’re selling one [mith]mw336[/mith] set, i’d reserve it.
November 21, 2011 at 11:09 am #21802I have just discover this topic!
As my collection is still very small, I think I could give myself a nice Christmas gift: lots of mithril miniatures.
Master Milo, there are different prices for the miniatures? (rares ones vs. common ones). I´ll like to purchase as many miniatures as possible (I don´t mind if they are out of the blister, as long as they are in good condition), with a fixed amont of money.
I think that most of the miniatures of the attic will be in my list of “futures”. Do you think is possible for you to make some kind of selection if I send you a list?
November 21, 2011 at 4:27 pm #21809Master Elroi, first send me a Mail, with your wishes, your budget and I will for sure help you as much as I can.

You are quite wrong Nino – it is a hobby store…………, but a giant one at that 😆
There appear to be some very well known (in military modelling circles at least) and possibly defunct UK names there Milo, not sure how to value them, but as the Tree would say, do not haste.

I have now to update my listsNovember 22, 2011 at 12:59 pm #21831Avec plaisir Séverine.
November 24, 2011 at 4:24 pm #21850Milo, my parcel arrived today! Thanks very much! Only 3 more oop figures to get!
November 24, 2011 at 4:46 pm #21851You’re welcome Bryan, which one are you missing?
November 24, 2011 at 8:30 pm #21857Hi Milo,
My wants list:
Of the discontinued M series: M7 (the Gondor Foot Soldier); M78 (Razarac); and M247 (Noldor Elf Warrior) – these are the ones I haven’t got in any form and are the ones I’m most interested in.
In addition, from the Orc Warband – the running orc with the raised spear and the bare head (A5d?)
I’m also looking out for M221 Beleg as the one I’ve got has the bow broken at the hand and I don’t know how successful I’m going to be in repairing it.
I’m also joining the lengthy queue in looking out for the Dwaw of Waw and the Christmas 1997 figure as well! (Oh, and 16 of the Half Orcs of Isengard series.)
November 24, 2011 at 8:48 pm #21858PM sent.
You should also add these inside collector’s database so that everyone can see what you are missing.
November 24, 2011 at 8:54 pm #21859i’ll really have to improve this collection manager… but I really don’t have time until february at least….
working on Phaeton site is priority at the moment I think…
