Well, I have to tell everyone how kind Master Thingol and his family are. I am really glad and honored that they went from Porec to meet us.
Of course our discussions about mithril were great, still not long enough…As everyone knows, we hobbits need time for cooking and having diner. :rolleyes:

It was a very promising 1st meeting.

It’s up to all of us to do the same. Master Thingol shall be granted “Mithril tour guide” !

Now it is my turn to plan some visits
I will for sure fill your fridge with good hobbiton cheeses when we manage any meeting, but not only.

I think it is very telling about the members here that their passion for these figures allows connections like the one you see here.

As mentioned somewhere else: I had the opportunity to visit Master Erchamion.

For holiday reasons I visited some places in Andalucia known for their magnificent moorish architecture.
(looking for some inspiration for further Harad-related dioramas . . . don´t tell my wife the real reason!)
Coincidental Master erchamion do live in one of those places: Granada! The most amazing town in the world! (as everybody will agree who visited Granada as well!)
So- we met the “better parts” of ours, exchange some presents and spent a very nice evening indeed in the shape of La Alhambra!

Well- I don´t know what ball that is under my shirt . . .
Anyway- I still wonder about this modern “thing” which is called “smartphone” which gives some funny translations of spanish sentences . . .

Master erchamion showed me some very well done painting examples of favourite mithril figures BUT also amazing historical figures in 25mm . . . WOW!
There was a magnet hidden in their bases which stops cruel accidents while transporting these treasures!

It was a real pleasure to met Master erchamion and his gentle familiy and we both are sure about the fact, that we will repeat this in the future . . .

Great to know about this. Alas, I wish I’d once have had the time to get there. – I enjoy each time learning that Mithril-addicted people meet. – So you’re first now in the ranking of meetings, Turambar, as you have met more Mithril-maniacs than anyone else so far. – Keep on, boys.

The pleasure was reciprocal, as you well know, Master Turambar.

The truth is that these “moments” are what make this forum great. After so many years and despite small disconnections because of babies, you come back here and meet great people from many different places behind our beloved hobby. Thanks for that guys

Houm… my freind Turambar was send me e-mail in whom he wrote all the best about master Ignacio and his family… I’m sure you spent great times together dear friends… and I have one announcement… In end of the June I’ll go with my family to Sevilla and in one of the 7 days of our vacation we have idea to go to Granada… I hope… we’ll success in this plan so maybe I’ll call you Master Erchamion…

So… as Man in the dark (Master Tom) says half and hour ago… in our conversation on the balcony of his hotel with nice cold beer in our hands…

Great treasure of our little comunity is that almost nobody collect Mithril, but MITHRIL COLLECT PEOPLE…

So guys, last 2 days I spent with one great man (The man in the dark)… but the only dark thing we saw, was extra strong croatian dark beer…

Anyway we spent many minutes in conversation about mithril miniatures and life themes, in nice and quiet istrian surroundings…

Master Gardener don´t stop to travel. “Traveling is the only thing you pay for and makes you richer”. Nino must be very rich, in fact. It is a real pleasure to enjoy these good times in the company of forum friends 😎
