Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention why Turambar was at my place. He said he had to have to give me “something” personally, that’s why he asked me if he could visit me. I really didn’t know what it was or what it was about.
Thank you Holger, thank you Christoph … this surprise was amazing …
I’ll just add two poorly taken pics, just let you know what this marvellous visit was about …[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_a_5.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_a_5.jpg[/imgz]

Christoph, sorry for the bad quality of the pics … I’ll have better ones soon. It’s just to give an idea for the others.
July 25, 2011 at 10:07 pm #18851Never mind at all, Master Tree!
So- everything is said at this point! What an absolutely extraordinary weekend at The Tree´s house in Osning!
All the things prepared by Mrs. T. were far better than those I have consumed at Barliman´s place. Well, a fool who thought something else . . .
It was a real pleasure. Simply fabulous. Topping this won´t be possible.July 26, 2011 at 1:18 am #18858Nice pictures!
What are those books that you are looking at?
July 26, 2011 at 6:49 am #18861Dear friends … I hope that we will organize a joint meeting. I really hope so. With these photographs we can see one part of your fantastic weekend guys… The second part will remain in your memories…..
This Holger’s conversion is another one masterpiece made by our talented Master Caster… simply enchanting…. amazing… etc…
July 26, 2011 at 6:51 am #18862Who will be on next meeting here…. remains to be seen…. !
July 26, 2011 at 8:10 am #18868great pictures Theobald and Turambar… it made me laugh a bit though that for your meeting and mine, the pictures show us al being so serious and analysing this Zoetrop Mithril catalogue from 2009…. this book is really a central point
July 26, 2011 at 8:10 am #18869All happy faces, just a shame I wasn’t there.
Master Turambars Paintwork is just sensational and tank you for the little add on you performed. It makes all the difference to the look! Very well done!July 26, 2011 at 8:52 am #18873Wow, simply great to share our passion isn’t it ?
Great to see the drinking ones. But Master Theobald seems to drink a strange water, with smoke around it also…The conversion, painting and base are just marvelous !
And as Master Gildor pointed out, Zoetrop’s magazine is a real pleasure to read!

It is also possible to analyze it
July 26, 2011 at 12:17 pm #18877Thank you very much for your sympathy, fellows.
May I add something. This “event” was absolutely fantastic and it was something very extraordinary. A MMP member crafted a special conversion, anotherone painted this figure to give it
a third member as a gift. Continental-crossing . . .
This is what MMP is about. Having something TOGETHER.
I hope I could show everybody what I mean, speaking this “dizzy” english . . .Thank you for being part of this amazing group.
July 26, 2011 at 1:39 pm #18881Well, to be honest … I intended to give our “Archer of Mirkwood” some lessons in archery … it was the weather that spoiled it. As he admitted not being an archer at all, we should think about another “title” for his avatar that has more to do with painting than with archery. Though that also might concern the pic … alas … to me he is the Master of dioramas and paints … rhuoomm
July 26, 2011 at 1:52 pm #18882Hah … did you see? … last post was 3333 …
Now to be serious again, I’ve got the impression that by now many among us do like Master Zoetrop’s catalogue very much. As the only existing one will never be re-released (and there have been just a few of them) I think I should encourage Master Zoetrop to have an updated version, right? – though there are problems, as not everybody regards the catalogue the way we do … unfortunately.
July 27, 2011 at 12:33 pm #18890What Master Archer and no bow???? Master Turambar, you have to get one…. great stuff! I got a composit bow. I wouldn’t like to be hit by a arrow shot of this guy, chain mail or not. It’s not nice if you can’t get your chainmail of anymore, because it’s pinned to your body…
July 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm #18894Sounds like it was a lovely time with lovely company.

I saw a film on T.V. how they made on. Impressive!
I am jealous, Master Caster.
But the Tree showed me different arrows he possesses, and I won´t be hit by any of them.July 27, 2011 at 2:27 pm #18900Arrows heads are depending on what you use it for. Training, hunting….. or whatever els you want to damage, like garage doors … lol Nice experience of my own trying out the bow the first time….
July 27, 2011 at 2:56 pm #18908Be grateful that you didn’t hit the car.
July 28, 2011 at 12:10 pm #18951The arrow luckily didn’t go the whole way through the garage door….
July 28, 2011 at 2:32 pm #18958Hmm … next time you should use a real “longbow” and a bodkin-head attached to the shaft 😆
July 28, 2011 at 3:48 pm #18960Now that would go through a garage door. Probably the wall as well.
