      Hello everybody
For me who am new, I’m happy to see finally those who are and who make this great site.
It’s evident that you have all the same energy drink for your “works” ;), And that the discussions are made in a great atmosphere between passionate persons :D. It would seem that each of you spent a good weekend
And Theobald, the present which you received is magnificent

Huoommm … that present you referred to was made and painted by friends, melady … though those rascals didn’t let me know before … errr … so they are, some intriguing people, acting against my will, converting down-under, sending metal to Europe, letting it being painted and then giving it to me personally at my home … rhuuoommm … though … rhuoom … I have to admit that I enjoyed that very much … though I should try to take better pics o’ the figure …

I can even tell you the number of arrows estimated to have fallen on the charging French cavalry at Agincourt (approximately 1,000 per second if you’re interested, or about 300,000 in the four to five minutes so it would probably have taken for the French to cross the killing zone).

Huoommm … right, Master Barliman, that’s what can be estimated … but in the area between Wadicourt and Crécy the skies must have been obscured by arrows … as long as the archers had enough shafts for their ‘war-bows’ made of yew … i wasn’t reffering to which is called Agincourt, I thought of Crécy …rhuoommm … anyway, archery is a fine way to contemplate, so the Easterlings say … rhuoomm

But an arrowing experience if you’re on the wrong end of it.

so, right you are again, Master Barliman … definitely right … rhuoommm … how do you call that? … is it wisdom, wit, satire, homour or even simple irony … better we get over to the Pony … not the right place here to discuss such serious things like these around here …. rhuoomm … :)

Dates back to when Pinkfloyd were actually good… It was the soundtrack to ‘The Valley’ wasn’t it? At least, that’s the name that springs to mind.

Huoomm … our Master Barliman was right again, as ‘La Vallée’ was the title of the movie and them Waters, Gilmour, Mason, and Wright composed and produced the music in 1972 … rhuomm … I still keep a venyl-thing of that … nice music indeed, as most of it doesn’t make you feel being hasty … that’s why I still sometimes do enjoy it … rhuoomm … ? ’72 ? … quite some time ago, isn’t it? … anyway …

No, it won’t, Master Barliman, not at all. – Though, to be honest our Master Turambar has promised to visit me again very soon to spend a nice weekend together. Well, another year has gone; hastily. I wish I could have more of you around here.
Maybe I’ll have to open another thread of “Turambar meeting Theobald”. In case you’re interested.
