Indeed, David. We really owe him that respect and thanks. – Though … alas, with those two boats he will overtake me with the number of MXs. With the Frumgar we were both involved in we were equal, but later Tom had the MX600 “Crack of Doom” and now he’s about to have two (!) MX-boats being released while I just had the Imrahil and the Unexpected Party. Well, so then he’ll be first-MX-suggestor indeed. And his ideas all are marvellous. Not to mention all the time and money such projects consume.

Thanks for posting these Nino. These are where the Boats are at now. I expect that this boat will also include ropes, gear, etc., just like the Aragorn, Frodo, and Sam boat. I have asked Chris for clarification.
I don’t know if it is intentional, but it looks as if Boromir is having to lean to the Port side to counter-balance the two hobbits who are both leaning to Starboard, this is a nice little touch whether intentional or not as it adds a bit of humour, and you can just imagine what Boromir is thinking……
this actually looks really good! i hope boromir’s left hand is not clipped as in the preview, however.
Well spotted I’m sure the final render will sort it, but I wonder if the hand will be cast already attached to the boat, hope not as this may be a bit restrictive.

Boats and crew have been assembled and primed (just need to check if any gaps need attention). One of my projects will be based on this painting by Ted Naismith
