Watch out Gondolin
Keep your treasure chest well secured. You know what these wandering Elves are like
October 28, 2008 at 8:55 pm #3509especially when these are the only figurines I miss
I tend to be quite …. maniac
November 8, 2008 at 11:40 am #3544By now I can confirm that the P. Sarsfield-figure Gondolin showed here is original.
Also Gildor’s guess (April 2008) is right … PS still identically is in the Edman collection (not that original figure from 1991, of course). So he always was in front of our eyes …[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_ihs5.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_ihs5.jpg[/imgz]
November 8, 2008 at 7:51 pm #3546still the base and “finish” are more detailled in the Edman collection version

for a collector the base difference makes… the difference
November 9, 2008 at 12:43 pm #3547Right you are, Gildor.
November 4, 2019 at 4:28 pm #38091well , i know it is necroposting… but I wanted to share my joy with you gentlemen… it took me 11 years… but now I can hold it in my hands…
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/2_christmas91.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/2_christmas91.jpg[/imgz]
Now I should try and focus my energy on getting my hands on [mith]ME2[/mith] (and learn about others unreleased I am still unaware about… if any of you have informations or pictures don’t forget to contact me)
November 4, 2019 at 10:19 pm #38095… A really good catch Master Gildor…. How did you find him ?
November 4, 2019 at 10:28 pm #38096well, it was by luck, I was not especially looking for it, but it seems a retired person from the Mithril team had him and was willing to sell it to me.
I was actually looking only for a King Arthur 1995 to replace mine who has a fragile almost broken sword (this [mith]Chr1995[/mith] has a very very fragile sword)
and it happened he also had Patrick Sarsfield… one chance in a million…November 5, 2019 at 7:34 pm #38097Awesome Master Gildor!
November 6, 2019 at 6:36 pm #38098Bravo Gildor,
So you have only 1 missing prototype ? crazy catch really ! 😎
November 7, 2019 at 3:28 pm #38099Well done Gildor !
The Grall is coming …
November 7, 2019 at 7:34 pm #38100oh the graal , there are other artifacts
the spearhead of Longinus or the Holy shroud
I like to have other things to find
but thank you dear friends
I know this figurine is not the best sculpted one but I must admit the wig is quite well sculpted actually !! ahahathe real Graal for me would be to solve the very old Christmas1989 mystery… that is one of my biggest challenge
(along with getting a picture of the unique “Vingilot & Earendil” vignette from Chris…) -
