as promised this is the poll,

in the event that a majorité asks for it to be sent to Chris as one of the recasts, it would be wise to diplomatically approach Chris with the eventuality of its conception beforehand rather than make it a surprise… He may like it as he may disagree with it… as I said, there are two things… his official statement and his profund consideration of conversions, provided there can be no ambiguity on the fact recasts are … NOT to be ever considered genuine

So, the edition which go out to The Man could contain original figures only.
There should not be a problem to find these figures, mostly they already exist. On Master Milo´s workbench if I understand everything right.
Though the edition to all of us- if voted so- could contain recasts of these original figures.

There will be NO recasts of any original minis! Only recasted converted minis!

Ahem Master Thingol, you call a 16+ figure set a little diorama? 😆 It will be bigger then all produced by Mithril so far, even bigger then the unexpected party.

I agree with Holger here, even Chris if he gets one, should have it the SAME way we all have it, the “base” of the scene should be the same for everybody and the base , in this case, is a final product including the conversions, recasted as many times as there is supposed to be copies…

main aspect is : Slight conversion, and NO base on the figurines (so that they can fit in the diorama) the fact there is no base on the figurine in itself is a STRONG point in making it so that the figurine cannot be genuine, or would have no-value at all if seen outside the diorama… this is a very good point I think…

One other aspect indeed would be to use, if possible, mostly common figurines, beautiful ones but no big rares….

Ok than it is “little diorama” but before all we must calculated how many figures will be there in final…. number of participants multiplied with number of figures ( + secondary figures ) x number of copies and accessories and base…. there will be more than 200 figures in final…. ! and for this we should have a lot’s of metal and some extra money… :rolleyes: this must be long-term planned project… and I think that here is important noted the original and copies. But who will be owner of original diorama. Chris !

mmhh we don’t know yet how many participants there may be but I suggest that we decide about a “limit”…. or else we will never
1) be able to achieve it
2) begin the project at all, as there will always be additional participants

well there is no need to run this poll further longer I suppose it is clear the majority wants to have his copy AND that a gift may be given to Chris…
