Too small !
EbobĀ“s camels are too small ! There are three diferent ones.
Why? I posses them! š
Though the proportion is MUCH better !February 3, 2011 at 9:57 am #14983Master Caster, here is a picture showing the camels scale:
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/553_camels2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/553_camels2.jpg[/imgz]Cameosis is right, these are Ral Partha ones (1988).
As you can see, scale is smaller but bundles and other stuff shall fit correctly with a mithril one.
I can provide both camles & the pony also, for casting (Holger), or collecting (cameosis) purposes.
Just let me know if you want any.February 3, 2011 at 10:49 am #14985Thank you very much for the picture Master Milo, but no, they don’t fit. In my eyes they look like babies. If I put the same load on a M73 then it is nearly double the size of the RP one. Well well, I guess I have to do unpack my Dremel and other tools, plastic putty and start from scratch….
Does anyone know another company beside Mithril and Reaper producing minis in 32mm scale???
February 3, 2011 at 11:07 am #14986Old Glory has some camels too….. but, they are 25mm scale, look small too … and of course, the quality is less

February 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm #14987Just had alook at Andrea Miniatures (32mm0 but nothing there either…
February 3, 2011 at 5:29 pm #14994Archer of Mirkwood, can you post a picture with that eBob camel next to a Ral Partha or Mithril camel? I was considering buying a few and I still might depending on how much smaller they are than the Mithril.
February 3, 2011 at 5:31 pm #14995Milo, In that picture above, who makes the larger camel?
February 3, 2011 at 6:23 pm #14996Of course, Master Troy. But you have to wait until the weekend.
I bought these camels from ebob exactly for that reason: a Harad-diorama.
There is also a lying camel which I love the most. But it is the same: they are too small. Defenetly and unfortunately.Unfortunately ebobĀ“s horses are too small as well. ThatĀ“s a really great pity because the horses are magnificent.
But there is no chance. It is a different scale.PS: Master Troy, that camel you mentioned is from Mr. Chris Tubb and it is the [mith]M73[/mith] !
February 3, 2011 at 7:55 pm #14998Master Troy, I confirm it is [mith]M73[/mith] camel.
February 3, 2011 at 8:22 pm #15000don’t know anything about these models size wise, but they’re cheap (ā¬ 3.70):

February 5, 2011 at 12:53 pm #15066Ok, Master shadyt, here are the pics I have promised to take for you.
For me teh best camels evr been sculpt, from Master ebob. Wonderful proportion and nicely slim, those camels.
You have to know, I donĀ“t like the mithril camel at all, because it is too plump.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_camel012.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_camel012.jpg[/imgz]

Interesting to know the oppinion of you- fellows!
February 5, 2011 at 1:11 pm #15070Christoph, they are bloddy awesome! I like very much!!! I think the proportion is not to bad at all. Imagine these camels loaded with goods!! Great! There are Hobbit dwarfs men and elfs. I guess we have something between dwarf and man. More then good enough for me! You use the larger horses as war horses, so you can use the larger camels as war camels!
There we go, the diorame is growing!February 5, 2011 at 1:12 pm #15071Thanks for the pics, that really made my day!
February 5, 2011 at 1:15 pm #15072Why doesn’t have the camel in the middle of the first pic a base plate? Did you cut it of, or does it come like that?
February 5, 2011 at 1:22 pm #15073Thank you for the pics. They do look a bit small and thin next to the Mithril camel, but they might be close enough.
February 5, 2011 at 1:28 pm #15075Master Caster, please check your messages when you have time.
February 5, 2011 at 1:30 pm #15076No it comes like that, Holger. Glad I could please you.
February 5, 2011 at 1:34 pm #15078Sorry no messages, might be full lol
