I think personally to use a small hacksaw. I have never done this, but it is used to cut metal anyway. You probably would still need to file the parts afterward.
Master shadyt, the cutting discs for steel are not quite the right thing. because of the high speed they more or less melt the lead and it will stick to the disc which then in turn doesn’t cut anymore.
The blade I use has got teeth like a saw blade for timber.
