I wanted to post this ad that I found in a Dragon magazine that I got last week. Tell me what you think about it.
January 5, 2012 at 11:15 pm #22514I wanted to post this ad that I found in a Dragon magazine that I got last week. Tell me what you think about it.
January 5, 2012 at 11:22 pm #22515I received the pic earlier and I think I should add it alongside the unique pictures in the gallery…
I had the picture of the dwarf but not the one of the half-orc… these are the only “graphical” representations of the unreleased warbands!
I think it is a must-seeJanuary 5, 2012 at 11:22 pm #22516That’s very nice indeed, Master Jdbrown55.
January 5, 2012 at 11:41 pm #22518I thought it would be nice to see what colors they were depicted as. My half-orcs are not this color and I don’t have any of the dwarves.
January 6, 2012 at 12:29 am #22519when I look at this sheet of advertisement, I can’t help but think…
“ahhh… these were the good days indeed…”nostalgia, nostalgia…
January 6, 2012 at 2:41 am #22520Exactly! That is why I like the old ads and the old blister card backs.
January 6, 2012 at 6:40 am #22521Great find Jason. Thanks for showing this to us.
Can you tell me which Dragon magazine and which page it is please (I added the picture on wiki gallery here: http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Catalogs_%28Mithril%29)?January 6, 2012 at 6:42 am #22522It confirms again that MW346 are haf-orcs & MW-347 are the dwarves.
January 6, 2012 at 9:37 am #22526Could you send me this picture scanned in high resolution on my e-mail…. I will put it on PM… Thanks in advance Master Marshal of the Mark….
January 6, 2012 at 3:13 pm #22530Your welcome! I will send you a scan soon, Master Thingol.
January 6, 2012 at 5:57 pm #22531as milo pointed out, it indeed clearly states out that, despite what the Man used to call them to sell them… the half orcs are the mw346 and the dwarves MW347….
but historically they are always remembered the other way around
January 6, 2012 at 11:30 pm #22536Note the carry through of the sea-blue for the Gondorian soldiers, later seen in the Lossarnach illustrations.
