great photos, Milo… Very clear the improvement on CT job across the years. thanks!
January 16, 2012 at 2:32 am #22699Well, I am pleased to note that these miniatures make perfect matches for the Neniel (Sinda Ranger), Nari (Dwarf Warrior), and Pariel (Dunadan Mage) characters from the old MERP starter adventure “Loons of the Long Fell”
Now if only we could get the Hobbit Scout (the unfortunately named Mutfast Strangfoot), Wilhaet (the Northman warrior*) and Alf Mep (Eriadoran warrior) – maybe remakes of [mith]CH12[/mith], [mith]CH33[/mith] and [mith]CH34[/mith]? You could call the remade CH34 a “Hillman warrior” – good setting neutral name!
Would still love to see a [mith]CH7[/mith] and a[mith]CH21[/mith] remake though! (Though I do note that there’s no current plans for such a thing)
January 16, 2012 at 12:14 pm #22701at the moment I think Chris will switch back to other ranges than CH…
there is supposed to be FOUR subranges of Phaeton…. PM, PCH… and two others…(irish, and roman)
January 25, 2012 at 4:42 pm #22818I received today the new pics and descriptions for the forthcoming figurines… I will put them on the dedicated page later today.
these are PCH7 “warrior in casque helmet and chainmail” (remake of CH9 cleric) cost £8 as always
and PM4 “Nameless Things” (non-winning suggestion from Gavin Benett) this is a TWO figurines set and will cost £15pics will follow
January 25, 2012 at 4:44 pm #22819ohhh I cannot wait to see pm4
January 25, 2012 at 4:45 pm #22820I understand now why Gavin will be happy ! Thanls Gildor for these good news.

I thought it was “Grond” – Mark Brandenburg, the person who suggested this….

? ….oooooo
indeed !
January 25, 2012 at 7:14 pm #22827pm4 are half funny/perturbing minis. I like them …
And love the cleric… This complete helm is great in his simplicity… And the head pose, for me , much better than the original CH9 – More defiant.
January 25, 2012 at 7:36 pm #22828I just sent some paypal stuff to Chris.
[mith]PM4[/mith] Nameless things are funny. I wonder which color these are. Sand ?
[mith]CH9[/mith] I have it , so will be compared to old one soon.January 25, 2012 at 7:53 pm #22833now I am happy because I really liked the original CH9 (thanks to Milo I have one now
but I think PCH7 will even be better!
now i just wish Chris would remake the CH27A!!!
January 25, 2012 at 8:23 pm #22835What did I do?
I didn’t suggest ’em
I really like how he named the original Armoured Cleric as a “warrior” because what does Middle-earth not have?
Yep, Clerics.
January 25, 2012 at 8:24 pm #22836I rather like the Nameless things, I hope Gavin does too. The other figure is also nice from what I can see. The Nameless ones look like they have been based on poses similar to a couple of orcs in the Mithril range.
January 25, 2012 at 8:27 pm #22837Well whoever did, I hope they like ’em . Keep Clerics out of M.E!!!!
January 25, 2012 at 10:19 pm #22838Thank you, Master Gildor for broadcasting, and of course, Master Tubb for providing and sculpting.
January 25, 2012 at 11:05 pm #22839well if the suggestion was not from gavin I suppose we should tell the man and I should update my page… it’s him who’s convinced the credit of the idea comes from Gavin
anyway, I think those “things” are orcs with “melted” upper body” and some caudal appendices
January 25, 2012 at 11:26 pm #22841the nameless thing! What a minaiture! I am very glad that this is to be released that way! Fantastic!
January 26, 2012 at 12:19 am #22844Perhaps a braver decision by the man than his reluctance to sculpt Sauron, but I think he has ‘nailed’ a very credible look for these nameless things
January 26, 2012 at 1:37 am #22845I suggest all sorts of things, but not this time.
Weird.
So, hands up – nameless things, who dun’ ’em?
