luck favors the quick.
February 8, 2012 at 9:51 pm #23054I have some information to share among US and US only …
at the end of the month, we will have two new PCH releases (I don’t know which one though)
at the end of March we will see the first PM vignette, numbered PMV5
if all is well, during Easter (april) we should see PMV6 ? (some of you know it under the working name of “Thor and the dark elves”…. no comment please ….)
the remake of the PM1 should be re-referenced as PMV1 (to distinguish it slightly from the original PM1 though it is basically the same, reworked vignette)as for PMV5…. I urge you not to spread or speak of any “relation” it could or not have with “known characters from a certain fantasy universe” but the name of the vignette is…… “The Great Traveller encounters the Elves” with one BIG figurine knelt and 3 elves (2 male 1 female)
THIS will be a masterwork I assure you, but I insist on urging you not to make any “spoken” guess as to who it is supposed to represent ….
February 9, 2012 at 7:49 am #23056Ohmygosh… those are absolutely amazing news. Yesterday, when I confirmed Chris that I recieved the last Phaeton minis, he answered me he was making the remake of PM1, but it’s going slowly because some very interesting new projects – Now I know what he was talking about. I can’t wait to see this “Thor vignette” – The Man continues to wonder us.
And don’t worry, Gildor, about saying as word outside of here. None of us want to kill the Goose with Golden Eggs
February 9, 2012 at 8:27 am #23057I received an “addendum” to my first announcement… the so-called PMV5 MAY be (and should) be released for march but it is not “certain” due to technical issues that may end up creating some small delay… so it is in the process of being finalized but maybe not for march… a bit later
February 9, 2012 at 8:44 am #23058Well, no problem – good things some times have to wait
February 9, 2012 at 11:36 am #23059….. hm….. hm…. !!!! I knew some of those informations… but when Gildor’s put them here…hm… sounds almost official… and looks… hm…. great… !!!
February 12, 2012 at 2:43 pm #23087Que de bonnes nouvelles !

Next months we should have vignettes MAYBE.. and vignettes will certainly be in Resin (not Finecast at all hopefully but I’ll get more details soon)
There are some negotiations and ties up about Mithril recently that could relaunch Mithril activity too… Chris has taken into his own ends some “actions” concerning mithril… I hope it will allow for some… “revival”… but I don’t have further details yet

Regarding assembling: none on CH9, arm with mace, base on PCH7February 29, 2012 at 5:06 pm #23275Ahhhhh … thank you so very much, Master Milo. So, you remembered what you once promised. No offence intended, as I cannot haste everything myself.
Yes, with this accumulation of pics, contrasting the old CHs and the new PCHs, it becomes very clear what The Man meant, when he once talked about re-sculpting old PA-figures to make them fit into a Mithril size. But it’s not only about size and different bases, I think. Master Milo, these pics also clearly point out the improvement in sculpting in detail. – Now all of these figures must be a very source of joy to all role-players using metal figures. Somehow it’s back to MERP again. That’s why I still like the two series from 2006 and 2007 very much. – wonderful ! -
