Somebody should tell The Man that fine photographs sometimes helps selling figures . . .

Very worthwhile comparisons, Master Milo. I don’t have any of the old ones, so it’s especially interesting to see just how much The Man’s artistry has improved to an even higher standard over the years.

I particularly like the new Ranger – the brimmed hat is a nice, unusual touch, far more imaginative than the usual “give him a cloak and hood and call him a Ranger” approach taken by most designers.

Just found a packet waiting for me with the remainder of the figures from the range . All are very nice and especially the Ranger firing his bow – seems bigger than some of the more recent Mithril figures at first glance.

I like the Nameless things as well, not sure how to approach them but pale colours will be the way I think.

Anyhow, I await the next releases with anticipation (more I am afraid to say, than I do Mithril figures these days – the company’s lack of enthusiasm has dampened mine somewhat of late, although I do look forward to Beregond and the Troll, and Denethor).

…. received figures today…. but this time it is not particularly good for me this PCH9…. a bit too static… reminds me of the Haldir… also his “gondolier” hat… it is too small in relation to the body and head… and feather… looks like it was wet…. So it slapped the hat…

PCH8 is great….

it will be easier I think to update a single post for future release rather than posting again from scratch each time there is a new PCH

I got some information on this month release so that we can be prepared

this month release will be a vignette consisting or four figurines, “Halflings pursued by goblins (true orcs)”. The goblins will be of the “natural orc” kind and not the uruk-hai type of orcs… which would make them quite distinct

the price of the vignette will be £20 and should be sold on March 31st. I think the reference number will be PMV5 but not sure yet…

I think I can stretch to £20 having just taken advantage of the St Patrick Day’s offer .
