I made a mistake a big one…

the shipping prices have changed and I did not see that in Chris email so the prices on my website are totally WRONG… please postpone your buying…. I will make the modifications tonight

well the problem is that I wish I did not have to be hasty.. but the sale was to begin on May 3rd as desired by Chris and Chris provided me info and pics on May 3rd at 9pm… I rushed to update it before the day is over… and I missed that info

it is now corrected
the shipping prices have DRAMATICALLY changed, and please, for those who have already ordered, could you send Chris the difference… it is my mistake and I really apologize for that

New Postage rates :
– U.K. : £1.10p or £2.05 signed for
– Europe : £2.90 or £8.05 int. signed-for
– Rest of world : £3.50 or £8.65 int. signed-for

the http://phaeton.faerylands.eu site has been updated with the new info (figurine + shipping costs)

…. I add 1.4 GBP on my order…. this is more than 100% price rises…. the crisis occurred in the British Post Office… now they have expensive prices like a post in undeveloped state Croatia

Huoommm … no problem at all, Master Gildor.
But talking about changes on the Phaeton-Design-site, I dare to say that the expression “postal discount” could be misunderstood, as it is an “additional payment” for buying more than one figure, right? OK, it’s just about only 20 p ,I know. Maybe The Man forgot to tell you to correct that to make it more precise.

Er, sorry, I simply forgot to mention that I’m really looking forward to receiving this wonderful, and obviously very detailed, new figure. – As I’m writing, I also would like to stress that the time of release of all the Phaeton-Design-miniatures is absolutely reliable, and so is the quality of the figures. – Sorry, but this also has to be said. Huoomm.

Yes the Royal (Snail) Mail has pushed postage prices right up for letters (and other things no doubt). The letter delivery arm of the business is not a money maker for them (so they raise prices even higher to make other options of communicating such as email look even more attractive ).

Well, Master Ddaines, right you are. – Though I would like to point out that it wasn’t The Man who is pushing up prices, not at all. Just the p&p was increased. Mind, please, that The Man has been declining prices of very nice figures (compared to that Company) for about a while and keeps on with that … 8 pounds for a marvellous miniature … what is it? – compared to the price of a single M-release in the last years ..(ok, there were two releases, with 10 figures each, just sort it out) – I am so much pleased with what The Man did to improve that old figures, yes I am. – And besides, as it was mentioned elsewhere in a thread … they now fit so well into the Mithril-range … huoomm … I’m sure it was Master Thingol, who proved that by providing some very nice pics.
Sorry, this also had to be said.

Actually the “sentences” are his own, I tried to keep as faithful to his wording as possible

Considering the difference in prices I can understand that the Man was insistent on these modifications to be made quickly when he saw the first payments … Once again I apologize deeply … but I lacked time to update it all in such a short time…

I don’t see any reason why you should apologize, Master Gildor. Not at all. I think it’s us who have to thank you for providing all information about the Phaeton-Design releases and your work on that website. So, thank you very much, Master Gildor !
