Some News at last!
so… to begin with : Chris just finished sculpting the skeletal remains of Baldor (for the MS series)about Phaeton : on September 1st, Chris will release 4 figurines (to compensate the lack of release for July) this will be the complementary figurines for the Tempest mini series and that will conclude this mini-series)
the figurines are : Miranda, Caliban, and two sprites
(I will have pics next week)as for future Phaeton releases I should have great info soon, the production for a long-expected vignette has begun I am told

those are amazing news…. I’ll bought all the Tempest serie together
August 17, 2012 at 11:39 am #24685Good news indeed. – I like the fact that The Man considered to compensate the lack of releases for July. Though I do not understand. Everybody should have the chance of having a summer holiday, shoudn’t he. I would happily have accepted him saying, “No figures in July. Holidays.”
Of course I’m still very curious about that ambitious vignette-idea. So I’m very much pleased to read that the production has begun.
Thank you, Master Gildor, for providing these good news. It’s also good for you, I think. You know what happened to messengers of bad news in ancient times
August 17, 2012 at 3:24 pm #24686I too shall be interested to see what the mystery vignette is! I’m hoping it will be something that might double as a scene from LOTR, if you see what I mean! But we shall see.
August 17, 2012 at 8:41 pm #24687Very good news
Indeed… I’m sure that this still “mysterious” vignette will be something really amazing….August 17, 2012 at 8:59 pm #24688well it will I assure you
I only saw a prototype without a base but the final result should be impressive and the size should be justification enough for the resin casting of base+main character
@Barliman : alas I doubt this scene could be used to depict any scene from the LoTR… nor the Hobbit… this is -as we all know- not Tolkien related indeed… it is inspired from a scene of scandinavian mythology…. with “black elves”, Thor and Mjolnir… can’t say more at this pointAugust 17, 2012 at 10:27 pm #24689Master Gildor, your rough description was very well chosen …
August 18, 2012 at 12:01 pm #24692well it is the official description actually
just using my own wordsAugust 19, 2012 at 3:39 pm #24700Mmmm, I like these news very much. September will be a great month for miniatures.
August 25, 2012 at 8:27 pm #24729Well I made the updates and sent the broadcast already so you should receive it
but just in case…
there are two new releases in Phaeton range, as scheduled, on September 5th
(there is a slight error in the mail and I aplogize, it is indeed
PCH12 : Miranda
PCH13 : Caliban and Sprites… those typos with copy/paste hehe)

August 26, 2012 at 7:38 am #24735Very mithril like pauses, and new postures. I love these.
August 26, 2012 at 7:53 am #24736Alas, the subject matter doesn’t interest me even remotelyl – possibly because I was forced to study Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” at school!
August 26, 2012 at 8:09 am #24738…. nice figures…. again….
August 26, 2012 at 8:36 am #24742well be happy Barliman, there won’t be other The Tempest figurines

though I heard there may be Robin Hood related figurines in the Phaeton range at a time or another in the future?
and possibly a “cavalry of Mongols” range (which have been sculpted already for quite a while… if you see what I mean)
August 26, 2012 at 9:40 am #24743Ah, could these be the fellows out of the East originally designed and often discussed on MMP many long years ago?
August 26, 2012 at 11:17 am #24744did I say so ?
no I don’t think I did
August 26, 2012 at 12:11 pm #24745No, fear not Master Elf, you certaily didn’t.
August 26, 2012 at 3:25 pm #24746Now that last news is very interesting indeed. It brings back hope.
August 26, 2012 at 6:41 pm #24747…. new hope… !!!
August 26, 2012 at 7:51 pm #24748very nice figures and poses, espcially Miranda.
