😀June 29, 2013 at 4:28 pm #28187well no pictures to be displayed yet no alas… not officially though maybe he has sent the same info he has sent to me to some of you but I cannot say…
the news are as follows :
– a new “series” in the Phaeton range will be released in autumn 2013 . the series subtitle is “Necromancer’s tower”. I suppose everybody around here will be smart enough to understand what those figurines are about, and what is their origin and I trust you won’t use “names” or “places” that could endanger this release… no need to tell you why– the NEXT Phaeton release, will be released at the end of August, beginning of september (right after holidays). it will be the long expected vignette we have been discussing for quite a while… Those who will buy directly from the Phaeton site (my site) rather than ebay may have it for cheaper prices, prices which should be cheaper than mithril sales for equivalent production…(I don’t have the exact price yet) the temporary name (maybe final I don’t know) is “Thor and the Dark Elves”
As a side note, I asked Chris about the new mithril alloy and the smaller heads/figurines in the last Arkenstone vignette… I’m waiting for his answer about that…
Well, it seems things are moving again! at last!
June 29, 2013 at 6:29 pm #28188great news
and no more gladiators?June 29, 2013 at 6:52 pm #28189well Chris understood that gladiators were not… as important and a priority as other releases and expectations from the collectors I think. I suppose they will be released later… besides from what I saw, there were problems casting them…(casting a gladiator “net” is quite a mess…)
June 29, 2013 at 8:11 pm #28190.. great news… exactly what he told me on our meeting in London… and I like release dates… since I must recover my finances…
June 29, 2013 at 8:40 pm #28191ah well you managed to see the man directly in London, quite lucky you are indeed

Yes Gildor… this was very happy day for me… !!!!
June 29, 2013 at 9:57 pm #28194I am very much looking forward to these releases.
June 29, 2013 at 10:00 pm #28195I was also given authorization that, inside the “necromancer’s tower” range,
there will be a vignette with a “disguised wizard visiting a dwarvish prisonner”….
June 30, 2013 at 1:29 am #28198Well, this “Necromancer´s tower” range looks to be a very interesting set inside the “Hobbit-story”, better sayig Apendices.
Releasing a whole range from “phaeton” is also something “new”.
that inside this range there is a vignette hiding is really fantastic. But be careful to feel lucky . . .

July 5, 2013 at 9:29 am #28271that would mean games workshop is still in business in 12 years but that’s totally off topic
July 5, 2013 at 9:59 am #28272Let’s hope that Mithril is still in business in 12 years.
