I’ve just noticed that while I was away, “the Hobbit” Production Video 7 was posted – for those of you who haven’t seen it yet, the link is:
July 1, 2012 at 8:24 pm #24460Interesting scene with the barrels!
July 1, 2012 at 9:00 pm #24461Ah, then you might not have seen Production Video 6, which shows a little more of the barrel episode. I’m surprised that they didn’t take the easy option and have the barrels with their lids on, as in the book, but I guess they thought it would be more exciting if you could actually see the characters, in order to “share” in their discomfort.

, the barrells had no lids on so I wonder how raft elves figure in this or perhaps they are too p***ed like Galion and the Captain of the Guard . I guess it means that there are no raft elves
July 2, 2012 at 4:56 pm #24466I assume not. Not that they’re very convincing even in the book. I somehow can’t imagine elves phaffing around with rafts – ugly, unsophisticated, workaday things (er, the rafts, that is, not the elves).

July 18, 2012 at 6:40 pm #24560One of my colleagues went back fromv USA yesterday with a very nice and unexpected present for me.
Here is a picture:

I’m not found of such plastic toys…But this one I have put above my office’s desk.
July 18, 2012 at 7:44 pm #24561Hey, that’s an impressive toy! Wish I had one (I collected virtually all of the plastic figures of this sort released with the 3 LOTR movies – on the whole they’re actually rather good, and a helluva lot cheaper than the Weta resin masterpieces!).
July 18, 2012 at 7:58 pm #24562Interesting ….. very nice….. “invisible toy”…. you should buy the one ring now…. so you could see Bilbo…

As Comic Con ended last sunday, prices are still affordable, but already high. For information, my colleague bought it 25$.
Just search for “Comic Con 2012 Bilbo” using ebay.com (us search is better in this case).
