I’ve post the trailer on my blog and ask for opinions: it’s interesting …..
Could be read here: Sam’s Minis WorldSeptember 23, 2012 at 12:04 pm #25004Hello Sam. Really nice your site. Beautiful realizations.
Are you going to expose to the euromodel’s show, the next weekend ?
For your information, everybody, we have an European show of modelism : 29 and 30th september, near my home, at Chatellerault – Vienne- France.

I’ll go, that’s sure and alone! no wife, no children …. (or they will take the car while I’ll ride on my bike!)
I don’t expose at the show, because I had the information too late…. no matter, I’m happy to have such an event in my town !!
And you? will you expose some works??
maybe I could meet you in the Expo ? (for me,I will go there certainly Sunday afternoon )

So- this is the proof about his “thing” being the goblin king:

1-I don’t want to do “eternal advertise” for my blog!!
if I give here so many links to it it’s because it is the memory of what I do…
easier (and faster !) for me to put here 2 or 3 pictures (quick downsize with Photobucket!) and a link!
you can also read the comments in additional information.
Nevertheless, every body is free to look at or not!2-In the case of The Hobbit trailer, I’ve put the link BECAUSE I think that some comments are interesting and I can’t copy them here, no?
3-“the Hobbit” movie? I’ve seen the trailer some other times and honesty, I don’t recognize the book!!!!!
there is something wrong in the $$$$ P.J. work !
it looks more like a movie for children (but the book is for children!).
I could accept that but I’m not sure that I will be happy to see it like I was when I’ve seen the LoTR films…4-thanks for the link! so, that’s done: “Action Figures” then Video-Games, etc….

I could accept that but I’m not sure that I will be happy to see it like I was when I’ve seen the LoTR films…I think you’re being a little harsh and over-critical rather too early, Master Samwise. You should really wait and see the movie(s) before you condemn it/them. As Tolkien himself once said, “It’s impossible to please everybody at the same points”.
I admit I’m wary about certain changes which are apparent in the trailers and blogs, just as I was with the LOTR films, but I thoroughly enjoyed them, and I’m ready to concede occasional liberties with the Hobbit story if the movie(s) come even close to being as enjoyable as they were.
Not sure what you mean by “something wrong in the $$$$ P.J. work”. Is that Elvish? I only speak Westron.
September 24, 2012 at 8:13 am #25011Master Barliman, I respect all the point of views!
I just want to say my impression after seeing the trailer and that is:
I fear that the film could be a commercial one!
but I hope that I will be happy to see it !
“something wrong in the $$$$ P.J. work” ???:
commercial in Westron!September 24, 2012 at 8:22 am #25012You may be right, but I still advocate that we should wait and see! There will doubtless be good things about the movies as well as bad things, and I remain optimistic that there will be more good than bad (though that may be because I had two pints of scrumpy with my breakfast).
Let’s hope so.
September 24, 2012 at 3:36 pm #25024Er, judging films because of trailers could turn out to be as difficult as judging oaks by the acorn, meseems.
September 24, 2012 at 4:19 pm #25027Very true, Master Tree. We shouldn’t be hasty.
September 24, 2012 at 4:50 pm #25028I don’t base only on the trailer!
I’ve read some infos about the Hobbit movie!
It’s not “The Hobbit” ! it’s something different, that’s what I want to say!
and we are accustomed with P.J. for the ridiculous scenes, no?
Do you know who is this strange character with the sledge?? :rolleyes:September 24, 2012 at 5:03 pm #25029Radagast.
I think we can take it as read that you’ve already decided what you think about the film(s), Master Samwise! I’m prepared to be more open-minded. We know that “The Hobbit” was Bilbo’s own account of his adventure, so maybe we should be ready to look upon the movie as based on a version written by one of the Dwarves! That way there’s no need to be so critical.
September 24, 2012 at 5:17 pm #25030I’m not critical just to be critical!
I don’t like the Trailer, I say that, and I fear about the movie, that’s all !
I never said that I will not see the movie ! I hope that I will enjoy it, so I’m more optimist that it seems!September 26, 2012 at 4:55 pm #25042Spoiler alert
This is an image of one of the forthcoming toys of the Great Goblin (or Goblin King as he appears to be called). Not 100% sure that I like the look of him, but will reserve judgement until I see the actual character on screen

September 26, 2012 at 5:44 pm #25044Ugly Gobelin for sure ! Reminds me of jabba the hut. Maybe made on purpose ?
I will pause on getting news about the film as I feel surprises will be more or less cancelled by knowing too much about it.September 26, 2012 at 5:51 pm #25045Milo wrote:I will pause on getting news about the film as I feel surprises will be more or less cancelled by knowing too much about it.that’s better!
September 26, 2012 at 5:55 pm #25046… looks like a snotty slimy rest of Jabba the Hut…. I hope that he will use many various special effects to made him a lot better look…. now looks anemic and exhausted
October 29, 2012 at 11:15 pm #25387Well, just found this picture of Master Radagast.
I am not quiete sure- he looks a bit like myself this morning. I wore a similar titfer, because it was very cold for October.
On the other side he looks like having consumed too much of this scrumpy stuff . . .[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_bild_5.png]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_bild_5.png[/imgz]
