Are you going to expose to the euromodel’s show, the next weekend ?
For your information, everybody, we have an European show of modelism : 29 and 30th september, near my home, at Chatellerault – Vienne- France.

I’ll go, that’s sure and alone! no wife, no children …. (or they will take the car while I’ll ride on my bike!)
I don’t expose at the show, because I had the information too late…. no matter, I’m happy to have such an event in my town !!

1-I don’t want to do “eternal advertise” for my blog!!:cool:
if I give here so many links to it it’s because it is the memory of what I do…
easier (and faster !) for me to put here 2 or 3 pictures (quick downsize with Photobucket!) and a link!

3-“the Hobbit” movie? I’ve seen the trailer some other times and honesty, I don’t recognize the book!!!!!
there is something wrong in the $$$$ P.J. work !
it looks more like a movie for children (but the book is for children!).
I could accept that but I’m not sure that I will be happy to see it like I was when I’ve seen the LoTR films…

I think you’re being a little harsh and over-critical rather too early, Master Samwise. You should really wait and see the movie(s) before you condemn it/them. As Tolkien himself once said, “It’s impossible to please everybody at the same points”.

I admit I’m wary about certain changes which are apparent in the trailers and blogs, just as I was with the LOTR films, but I thoroughly enjoyed them, and I’m ready to concede occasional liberties with the Hobbit story if the movie(s) come even close to being as enjoyable as they were.

Not sure what you mean by “something wrong in the $$$$ P.J. work”. Is that Elvish? I only speak Westron.

I just want to say my impression after seeing the trailer and that is:
I fear that the film could be a commercial one!
but I hope that I will be happy to see it !

You may be right, but I still advocate that we should wait and see! There will doubtless be good things about the movies as well as bad things, and I remain optimistic that there will be more good than bad (though that may be because I had two pints of scrumpy with my breakfast).

Let’s hope so.

I’ve read some infos about the Hobbit movie!
It’s not “The Hobbit” ! it’s something different, that’s what I want to say!
and we are accustomed with P.J. for the ridiculous scenes, no?

Radagast.

I think we can take it as read that you’ve already decided what you think about the film(s), Master Samwise! I’m prepared to be more open-minded. We know that “The Hobbit” was Bilbo’s own account of his adventure, so maybe we should be ready to look upon the movie as based on a version written by one of the Dwarves! That way there’s no need to be so critical.

I’m not critical just to be critical!
I don’t like the Trailer, I say that, and I fear about the movie, that’s all !
I never said that I will not see the movie ! I hope that I will enjoy it, so I’m more optimist that it seems!

Ugly Gobelin for sure ! Reminds me of jabba the hut. Maybe made on purpose ?
I will pause on getting news about the film as I feel surprises will be more or less cancelled by knowing too much about it.

Well, just found this picture of Master Radagast.
I am not quiete sure- he looks a bit like myself this morning. I wore a similar titfer, because it was very cold for October.
On the other side he looks like having consumed too much of this scrumpy stuff . . .
