Here it is the link:
December 8, 2012 at 1:08 pm #26221ah thanks a lot for this link! I watched it (as I am not very affected by spoil or not) and I was amazed at how similar the scene of the White Council was from the mithril White council vignette!
the table, the floor, the chairs and the positions… it could be inspired by the mithril vignette! quite amazing!December 8, 2012 at 1:15 pm #26222Maybe it was!

December 8, 2012 at 5:50 pm #26233oh yes they should! but wil they?
December 8, 2012 at 7:59 pm #26239Alas, I suspect we all know the answer to that question.
December 9, 2012 at 3:13 pm #26257Peter Jackson just confirmed Hobbit Extended Edition will have up to 25 extra minutes.
And according collider.com the extended edition will come with its corresponding collector’s edition that will be released in the last quarter of 2013.

Did anyone doubt it?
December 9, 2012 at 3:41 pm #26261Odd to annouce an extended DVD even before the standard DVD has been released – surely people won’t spend their cash on the shorter version but will wait instead for the longer one…..?
…..Nah, I’ll probably buy both. because I won’t have the patience. But less devoted JRRT fans may not be so mad.
December 9, 2012 at 3:43 pm #26262I have bought only the extended collector version of the LOTR, I don’t think that will change with the Hobbit , not to mention the extended version of LOTR all had special “collector” content (argonath, gollum statue, and minas tirith replica)

+1 … I could not wait for extended and now I have both versions at home
December 9, 2012 at 6:01 pm #26273…. no doubt for me…. extended Blu-ray editions only ….. and new bigger TV after January 2015
December 9, 2012 at 6:45 pm #26276As for LOTR dvd, my husband will offer me the extended version dvd for my birthday : so, he found my birthday present for the next 3 years 😉
December 9, 2012 at 9:00 pm #26278Here in Bree we’re a little televisually behind the times – prehistoric, almost – but I’m hopig that come this time next year we’ll have replaced our TV with a flat-screen HD device, and will have moved on to Blu-ray also. Or maybe not. I feel environmentally rather guilty to get rid of a TV that’s still working fine. We’ve been hoping it will break down, so that we could justify buying a more up-to-date one, but the wretched thing still keeps working faultlessly. Same with the DVD player. Problem is we bought Sony, and their stuff seems to last for ever.
Maybe I should get Bill Ferny to arrange an Orc raid….
December 13, 2012 at 7:22 am #26377Great movie, 3D non usefull. I liked almost everything. Best to me is riddles with Gollum, just brillant !:cool:
Well, now I shall wait for 1 more year…
December 13, 2012 at 8:09 am #26379ok… I was doubting in see in 3d or not… I will save some money seen it on 2D, probably.
December 13, 2012 at 10:20 am #26381well so I have to see it on saurday and you say 3D is not useful a pity indeed
well I’ll still try it with 3D as it will be less expensive for me than 2D. (my theater has promotions for first projections of a movie each day… and the first projection is in 3D… that makes the 3D movie at 6€ in full 3D and THX (instead of 11€ in 2D later…)
quite a bargain!
December 13, 2012 at 10:40 am #26382Well, 3D is very well done, no doubt with it. Sometimes, it even gives vertigo ! (I do not tell you when of course)
As I do not wear glasses, I feel unconfortable with it.
And I feel motions in LOTR 2D Movies are as good as in Bilbo 3D.So, at the end, I prefer 2D.
December 13, 2012 at 10:55 am #26383well I will tell you my feedback on saturday (no spoiler of course ) as the movie is not even released worldwide yet
