The trailer for Hobbit 3 certainly doesn’t give much cause to hope for that, I’m afraid.
November 11, 2014 at 5:14 pm #31469I was quite surprised (I don’t know if it is a good or a bad surprise) to see Saruman saying “let me take care of Sauron” in Dol Guldur, with the blazing silhouette of Sauron behind…
I must admit though that the idea of having Sauron being the dark human like pupil in a red blazing aura… which , from afar, looks like a reptilian red eye…. is quite interesting indeed
(I hope I spoil nobody, but this “vision” was already present in the second movie, and as you all know I have always been fascinated with the representation of Sauron in the Tolkien universe)November 11, 2014 at 5:20 pm #31471It would be nice to think that what they were aiming for was a feline eye rather than reptilian. The way that Sauron/the Necromancer is portrayed in the confrontation with Gandalf is very impressive overall.
November 12, 2014 at 10:51 pm #31483Just for the situation, you don´t know what to put under the “Tree” . . . yes, it is about time thinking . . .

November 13, 2014 at 6:58 am #31485It’s big, but I don’t think I’d pay that much for a movie collectible.

. about 4 minutes long.November 22, 2014 at 10:36 am #31600Billy Boyd’s ‘Farewell’ song to Middle-Earth
[small][/small]November 22, 2014 at 2:54 pm #31601well you may like the movies or not, this song is very emotional… for the actors maybe more than the spectators it has been quite an adventure since the first movie…
November 22, 2014 at 3:54 pm #31602Yes, very emotive. The accompanying imagery was also enough to bring a tear to my grizzled visage.
