I have been wondering the same thing. I check the Gold Fellowship site every day. I think that Michael is very busy with the new Website at Prince August and has not had time to start the next month suggestions.

I agree Michael must be very busy.
Still, posting short news on the GF forum takes maximum 2 minutes.

There was supposed to be a painting competiton in september also.
I wonder why no images of fans artworks are provided yet.
Not enough competitors ? Not enough time ?
In such cases, at least a short post on the forum would be welcomed …

… maybe Michael may have been fired, or Mithril failed, or he is ill, or has fallen in love… or he has forgotten, or he went on a trip, or he is smoking a pipe on a green Irish hills … who knows where he is…

I’m curious to know the results of the competition. I’d like to win at least a consolation prize… ( one figure ) I’m a little short with money last days….

if I remember well, this month was supposed to be the switch from old prince august (and subdivisions) websites to the new website architecture and I know it can take 100% daytime in such cases so he must be really busy switching all data…

that may explain the silence

But at what price ?
60€ for one piece it’s a more expensive for me (like [mith]MS578[/mith]) . It’s a shame because they ‘re beautiful.
Maybe there will be in promotions for Christmas?

I can’t imagine the funeral boat to be more than 30 or 40€ max… there is no special sculpting or base… the boat is hollow and quite raw…

I really hope that Boromir and boat are separate castings , but I guess that may make the price a lot higher

oh but they are… the boat is one or two pieces, boromir is one piece and there is lot of stuff in the boat beside Boromir. there are lot of little items actually (though I can’t say if the “whole stuff” is a pile of single cast, or different pieces…

That would be good news then Gildor . I have three small boats from Ebob miniatures which were to be used (eventually :/) with a Farewell to Lothlorien idea I have on the ‘to do list’.

I would prefer to keep a continuity with CT/Mithril produced stuff even if it ends up costing more
