I hope it was just rat’s hair, gentlemen – the alternatives aren’t very appealing…. And I hope that your three Magi bring you something you desire, Master Erchamion. For example, a case of better beer than mine.
January 5, 2013 at 3:31 pm #26679Huoommm … well, Master Erchamion, enjoy that day together with your families … huom … I wish the same to all others here – who live in the Spanish country … huoomrhuom
January 7, 2013 at 7:32 am #26686Hello to everyone, it seems that many patrons are still sleeping off their celebrations!
I will sit here and enjoy this quiet dark corner, smoking my pipe. Barli, I’ll leave a couple of coins for the ale I drink (no Scrumpy for me)!
January 7, 2013 at 8:03 am #26687No scrumpy? You’ll never get hairs on your chest that way.
January 9, 2013 at 10:11 pm #26699So-
Just noticed, that our dear Master David is the winner of the current painting contest!
(at last, “they” came to an conclusion . . . how many weeks did it take . . . ? )Anyway: A BIG TOAST ON YOU, DAVID ! YOU DESERVE THIS !!!!!

Many thanks Master Turambar – it took a while to get there didn’t it 😆
My own personal opinion though is that as there were three figures on offer as prizes and three entries at the final count, it would have been perhaps a fair decision to give a figure to each entrant, and I will contact Michael to see if this would be possible, especially as Master Thingol has missed out.
So we will see
January 10, 2013 at 6:30 am #26701Bravo David, you are our master competitor ! 😎
January 10, 2013 at 6:50 am #26703Congrats, Master David. T think you must have painted the figures on a day when you didn’t drink anything in the Pony!

January 10, 2013 at 12:54 pm #26714huoommmm … also my congratulation, Master Ddaines … huomm … and your reaction clearly shows that there are some fine gentlemen around here … rhuooommm
January 10, 2013 at 5:57 pm #26716…. thanks to David… I’m received e-mail from Michael that I could choose one figure from the next 2 releases Cheers and toast for David… indeed fine gentlemen
January 10, 2013 at 6:47 pm #26718David, you are a true gentleman !
I suggest you both wait for Legolas & Gimli riding Arod as it should be nice …and expensive
January 10, 2013 at 7:04 pm #26719It’s a figure that I’m sure will indeed be worth the wait.

I haven’t read any messages from Michael yet so wasn’t sure of the reaction, but it seems to be good news;).
Choose wisely my friend 😆
January 10, 2013 at 7:11 pm #26722Congratulations to David twice! (by winning competitions and generosity….)
January 17, 2013 at 8:16 pm #26795Not sure if it has been posted already, but there is now a link to the Forum on the Mithril web-page
January 18, 2013 at 4:35 am #26796Has everyone given up drinking at the Pony? Oh well, I’ve managed to find some of Barli’s hidden treasures . . . regarding ale and pipe-weed, that is
January 18, 2013 at 8:07 am #26797I’m sure everyone will be back when there’s anything new to discuss. After all, it’s midwinter here in Bree, and sitting by your own blazing log fire at home is far preferable to crunching through inches of snow to get to the Pony – especially if you’re a hobbit with bare feet! It’s all right for you Rangers with your huge, thick, fur-lined boots.
January 18, 2013 at 3:03 pm #26799Good initiative!!: attractive prices to attract customers ……
http://www.mithril.ie/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=11619513
Marketing techniques to periods of crisis: continuous and limited offerings ….. That is the way to Mithril Miniatures, in my opinion. That and take the opportunity of the projected trilogy of The Hobbit ….
January 18, 2013 at 3:20 pm #26800Mithril actually showing any initiative is impressive! This is a good offer, price and figure wise.
Oh how I wish the Mithril DA figures had been available when I painted my Dol Amroth wargame army! But alas they weren’t – and I don’t have the time to paint a replacement army… It’s hard enough finding time to paint regiments once, let alone twice. Bummer.
