Huoommm … I’m always present, as Master Twrich also is … rhuommm … as for the midwinter in Bree at the moment I guess it’s better to stay inside … huoomm … though … to be honest … ahem, as for that nice blazing log fire you mentioned, Master Barliman, I hope you do feed it with dead wood of which life went off some years ago … rhuoommm … we Ents call it “Ent-bones” which, once lighted properly and then kept burning give away some warmth and flickering light … rhuoomm …
er, besides, what about offering me a bowl of that clear-clean-non-sparkeling-honey-coloured-liquid with that appely-taste that you use to serve at this, your very-well-known and very much recommended premises, called The Prancing Pony … huomm?January 18, 2013 at 9:42 pm #26803erchamion wrote:Good initiative!!: attractive prices to attract customers ……http://www.mithril.ie/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=11619513
Marketing techniques to periods of crisis: continuous and limited offerings ….. That is the way to Mithril Miniatures, in my opinion. That and take the opportunity of the projected trilogy of The Hobbit ….
26 riders for less than 4€ each…This is indeed very good price ! too bad I bought these riders in august 2012…

January 18, 2013 at 9:47 pm #26805Well, we certainly wouldn’t try to burn wet bones, Master Tree. (See song “Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones….” etc, sung lustily whist roasting one’s chestnuts on or before a roaring fire – carefully).
And I’m sure we could find you a bowl of amber-coloured fluid of some sort, so long as you’re not particular.
The snow is but a dusting in this part of Bree thus far, though to the north and the south-west it’s piling up nicely (well, nicely if you like skiing). Let’s see what the morning brings.

Master Barliman, I am not a regular client but I really appreciate your ale. A pint please and here is some coiny stuff.
I plan to move to Salute2013 in London on 20th April (http://www.salute.co.uk/salute/salute-2013/) and then to Cork to visit PrinceAugust, is anyone else intend to go to Salute event?January 24, 2013 at 8:14 pm #26860The tavern sounds empty these days. I will serve myself another Ale. Master Barliman, do not worry I drop befind the counter the coiny things.
January 24, 2013 at 8:36 pm #26861huuoommm … Master Mornedhel, this tavern never is as empty or abandoned as it might seem to be … rhuoomm … mind the Man in the Dark, please … huoomm … yes indeed, a kind of “self-service” might be welcome to keep the premises running for a while still … huoomm … so you drop coiny-things behind the counter and I drop the ale in front of it … rhuoomm … don’t take me serious, please, I’m just an Ent helping out … rhuoommm …
January 24, 2013 at 9:15 pm #26862Which is more than Nob does.

I have not been to Salute since 2008 when they gave away the Wolfrider.
January 25, 2013 at 8:19 am #26864A long way from USA, master Shadyt and London by night deserves such an effort .
January 25, 2013 at 8:30 am #26865Hi everyone,
Master Barliman, I think it’s been quite a long time since I came here for 3rd Breakfast. Do you have any food left for a hungry hobbit ?
Regarding Salute event in london, I will be in holland a week later and doubt I can manage 2 weeks off work & Home.January 25, 2013 at 11:30 am #26866I’ve never been to Salute at all, though I’ve heard good opinions of it. Never seem to have the time!
Master Milo, I’m sure you’ve already had three breakfasts – you just eat them so quickly that you don’t notice.
January 25, 2013 at 12:06 pm #26869Well, you may be right about 3rd breakfast.
Anyway, a pint of brown ale would be welcomed. -
