      You may, Master Tree.

And I think you may have answered your own question as regards re-issuing old figures rather than releasing new ones. The answer? Re-issuing old figures is probably easier.

My top choice for remake in the first 100 would be the Far Harad series M73-M81

At some point I will probably collect and paint all of the Rohan miniatures. Having those early ones reproduced would be a big help.

Interesting discussion guys…. actually I put answer “NO” on this question about reproducing figures under M100… and this is only one reason ( ant this is already pointed here ):

There are many… many…many… more figures on The Man’s drawer… on our heads… on Tolkien books…and if this is gonna happen this would be in this moment mistake of the decade…. Chris have great potential to make new previously never released figures and once when he would not able to make new figures then mithril factory can make reproductions of those figures… till then this would be nonsense.

And then they could write on base year of this rereleases so the old figures can keep their collection value…

As Master Tree said… this is our hobby… for me this is important and I never thought about selling my figures… I hope I will never I will not be in a position to think otherwise…..

well if the re-release of old M1-100 figurines is in ADDITION or regular releases, why not in a sense, but if this is a replacement…. no way…

huommm … yep, I’m mad, Master Barliman, I knew that before … rhuoommm … you might stick to your very special brew, but rather consider to take those spicy rats’ tails out of the bowl before serving the liquid … huomm .. just a thought …huom…
                    hmmm …
as for that other matter I just can imagine that Master Thingold’s words are right, as he lately has discussed such matters with The Man …. rhuoomm …

As you intimated in your earlier post, Master Tree, the Survey is likely to prove meaningless anyway, since Mithril will do nothing, regardless of what the responses might reveal. All in all a pointless exercise, therefore.

True statement Master innkeeper…. but not completely…. thanks to the this survey we have another 10% discount for spending our precious time to fulfillment it…. :)

true enough, that’s why the word and concept of “Legacy” exists :) you can’t take anything when you die but you can pass it along to your children and children’s children… and rest assured that they don’t use it in a way you would not have desired through well established “last wills”…

indeed that’s all psychology because once you’re dead, it does not matter anymore, but it is common sense among human kind to project oneself beyond death while you’re alive and be happy with what you think will happen (no matter what will really happen…)… call it materialism if you will :) … that’s the fundamental upon which capitalism and liberalislm are built upon and which – no matter what our ideology is – is currently “ruling” the world ….

…. idealistic existentialism and fostering illusion of imaginary heritage…. in a few short words ! :/ but we are happy now… and this is important… ;)

yeah well I really think I need a drink too ;) and a fresh one ;)

besides I received an answer from Chris concerning this survey question…
“I know for a certain fact that many of the masters do not exist any longer and many of the old moulds have deteriorated so much as to be un-useable ( the damp climate of Ireland has a long term deteriorating effect on the rubber). I feel very annoyed when this sort of thing happens without my knowledge. I agree with you 100% that if any are re-made then they should be marked “2nd edition” in some way; actually , more than this – I would insist on re-mastering all of them ( even those for whom the masters still survive), a bit like the remaking of the Fantasy range into Phaeton, so these would be effectively entirely new figures. Thus the real question to ask in any survey such as this should be whether collectors would rather I spend my design time re-working M1 to 100, or making 100 new figures.

That sums it all up don’t you think? :)
