Some days ago I don´t go into the taproom ….

Regarding the proposal of Master Barliman, I have knob, I am thin and pale skin, green eyes and with a red-brown hair. I like dwarves, but I think I’m more like a common man of North….

Master Turambar, of course, in my house we have not been very “original” with the name of the children. The first: Maria Jose, as the mother. The second: Ignacio, as the father …… It is very useful when calling at home. We all respond …… 😆

By the way, the dog is called Sauron (why I would put that name?)…..:D

Er, I don’t know what you intended to say, Master E., but in Bree dialect, the word “knob” means, in terms of physical descriptions, something….(ahem) rude. Let’s just say I’m glad you have one, but you, er, you wouldn’t want to show it to a young lady – unless you wanted to get arrested, of course.

:lol: I don´t know how to say in Bree dialect that pile of hairs above and below the mouth.
I looked in the dictionary and it appears “that” …… Should I burn my dictionary?:D

Well, there are many ways to describe one’s whiskers, but the most common is “beard and moustache”.

O.K.! Thank you, Master Barli. Sounds simple and easy. I know what it’s called in Bree dialect the part of my body that is filled with beer foam ….. ahem ……. I have thirsty, are a pint of beer, please? :)

Certainly you may have a pint – but beer, you say? Wat’s wrong with my scrumpy?

Scrumpy?! Do you put some slices of Limette inside during summer, Master Barliman?

Thank you for the explanation, Master E. ! That really makes sense . . . 😆

Concerning the name of your dog . . . the new cat living next to us and our other cat is really eating a lot.
I should make my mind up giving the cat the name: Mouth of Sauron.

                    Hi all

For the first time the official mitrhil forum is far more active than the MMP :-/
They really stirred up the community with that idea despite the holiday season.

So Master Brewer, a great ale as the sun com back today

…And just as the clouds gather over the Pony again! Weather is a bot changeable here in Bree now, but at least it’s not roastingly hot any more. I can’t stand that sort of heat. My Northern blood can’t cope with it.

well the vote has begun for this month suggestion… I have very few hopes for my suggestions but well we’ll see the end result :)

Master Inn-keep, can you put a pint of the Black Irish stuff on the tab for ‘The Man in the Corner’, for when he gets back to Bree. If you have none of the Black stuff perhaps your Scrumpy in a black glass to make it look like Guinness .

Met up with Tom and his lovely wife in London on Wednesday for a pleasant evening sinking a few ‘bevvies’ and a nice meal around the Covent Garden area.

I’ll leave Tom to tell of his trip, but once again it was great to meet up with a fellow forum member ;).

Haven’t got a black glass, so I’ll mix a bit of black paint in the brew. That should do it.

Indeed, after a couple Tom will never know the difference 😆

                                            Hello friends!
It appears that my suggestion in the Gold Fellowship will make it to the 2nd round. I do not usually come in here to ask favors, but this portrait month is a rare and precious opportunity. Please consider supporting an active MMP member and voting for me as a Rohanian spearman.

                                            Thank you,
