But what do I know of business
Completely agree with you David, it may be better to sell more figures is worth cheaper, that not a lot at a high price, quantity at a reasonable price in times of crisis is certainly a better thing.
But like you, I’m not a specialist business. It may only be my purse talking
Anyway, I also benefited from this memorable day to give me some figures identified long time ago.
November 1, 2013 at 6:57 am #28971As Master Dave says, it would seem to make more sense to sell produtcs at a more reasonable price than have them just sit on the shelf for years on end.
Dave adds that he bought some MS figures that he hadn’t intended to buy, and so did I – I bought two that I’d probably never have bought at their usual prices. Indeed, they were released several years ago, and I never felt that I could justify the cost – until now.
Sadly, there are some expensive figures that I still find too expensive even at half-price!
November 1, 2013 at 6:33 pm #28973Had I had the money I would also have grabbed the Helm’s Deep 2 set, but that’s for another special offer
November 2, 2013 at 12:20 pm #28980I bought 2 MS + a douzen regulars I do not have in MINT condition.
For sure, withhout selling price like this, I would have kept my collection as is.
Now, some primed minis will improve my glass cabinet shelves 😎November 2, 2013 at 12:33 pm #28981I just discovered a painter called Robin Eley whose artwork consists in paiting reality, as if paints were pictures taken by a camera. Have a look, this is incredible:

November 2, 2013 at 12:50 pm #28982Proud painter, master Milo! His mastery of the “reflections” is very good and his work is very realistic. If you would like to paint realistic-military, I can advise you another wonderful Spanish painter. His Napoleonic serie has me excited ….

November 2, 2013 at 4:21 pm #28986I like the technique Master Ent, and the fact that I can learn from him how to have transparent effects with paintings
I don’t care about nude ladies in plastic.:lol:November 2, 2013 at 5:01 pm #28987Your links are fantastic, Master erchamion!

November 4, 2013 at 11:16 am #29000I think I long for a very strong coffee. Is it possible to have one, Master Barliman?

My headache returns and become stronger and stronger . . .I’d rather give him a big jar of honey of chestnuts pollen from the fairy forest
November 4, 2013 at 2:05 pm #29004Is this some sort of migraine cure of which I wasn’t aware? Sonds nice.
November 4, 2013 at 4:11 pm #29005I didn’t know elves could suffer from headache. Maybe due to dwarves singing around his house ?
November 4, 2013 at 4:26 pm #29006More likely to be due to drinking too much scrumpy.

May I have another pint of scrumpy please, Master Barliman?
November 6, 2013 at 8:44 am #29022It sounds to me more like you need a strong coffee.
