Ah, thank you Mistress Sevlag, they do look very nice and compatible together. The big question of course is, do I need them and if so for what?
A Bree scene is very tempting I suppose – I wonder what the new coaching inn will look like.
Mmmnnn! I must ponder 😎
November 17, 2013 at 8:17 pm #29137I admire your willpower, Master Dave. Usually I see pictures like this and immediately go out and buy the models without giviing any thought to how I might effectively use them. Haven’t done it this time, but I might eventually weaken….

Haven’t done it this time, but I might eventually weaken…., I did just carry out a (test) order for three items, but once the VAT and shipping was added it bumped it up to over 200 euros, so I backtracked
. They are very nice, but…. And yes, I could have done it one by one but I rather follow your line of thought Barli, buy and be damned – work it out afterwards  .
They do have the coaching inn for sale as well (91Eur + VAT & shipping) – I was looking at how it could be utilised as your own fine establishment…..
November 17, 2013 at 9:38 pm #29139Yes, that’s one that caught my attention. It does actually bear a close similarity to certain details of this fine establishment.
As I said a little earlier, thus far I’ve only purchased the company’s excellent windmill, and I got that by persuading Mrs B to buy it for me as a birthday present.
November 18, 2013 at 5:34 am #29140It’s true that their creations are beautiful, but when you add VAT and shipping it significantly increases their posted rates.
Their new tavern is great, maybe a little large?
The major problem is that it is difficult to develop an interior that we can see.
But, as I have already said, they are really beautiful (never seen it anywhere) but very expensive: a perfect birthday gift, Master BNovember 18, 2013 at 7:54 am #29141sevlag wrote:…As I have already said, they are really beautiful but very expensive: a perfect birthday gift, Master BExpensive indeed. But as we say here in Bree, “you get what you pay for in life”. In other words, if you want a quality product, you have to pay for it. Compared to the cost of the man-hours it would take to build such a model ourselves, the price isn’t unreasonable, really — it’s just a lot to justify spending out of a limited hobby budget.
What I need is one of those newfangled 3D xerox machines that generate 3D objects from strands of polymer or whatever.
November 18, 2013 at 5:43 pm #29142huoommm … I don’t think that would be cheaper in the end, Master Barliman …. huoomm …
November 19, 2013 at 7:38 am #29146…..but they have now Christmas offer, see it…. http://www.tabletop-world.com/
November 20, 2013 at 9:59 am #29149Master Barliman Please serve a pint for all here of that beer brewed by the monks.
I Successfully pass by exams (about German Investment Tax Actand Switzerland Project management method)
November 20, 2013 at 10:28 am #29150I’m not sure what any of that means, but well done anyway!
November 20, 2013 at 10:52 am #29151huoommmm …. congrats, Master Mornedhel … hom … and thank you … oh, er, and I also don’t have any idea what the exams were about … rhuoommm … sounds being too complicated for me …
November 20, 2013 at 11:44 am #29152Bravo et merci Master Mornedhel
November 20, 2013 at 7:14 pm #29153Congratulations and thank you
November 21, 2013 at 9:09 am #29155Tonight, snowfall on NorthFarthing. BindBale wood is white even before trees leaves fall ….
A hot wine please Master Barliman
November 21, 2013 at 9:16 am #29156We haven’t seen anything yet at Bree, but I gather the white stuff has been falling in the noorth. But it’s certainly cold enough to need a nice warming beverage, so I’ll share a jug of mulled wine with you by all means.
