well I suppose you mean the head of hobbits their hair and their cheeks, I too have some problem with this…

and also when it comes to paint hobbit girls’ dolls…. a BIT too small to be easy to paint with precision…

but the druadan woses, and hobbits appearance that Chris uses comes from MERP and Angus McBride mostly… and since it is very important for both mithril and Chris to respect continuity in the range… he will carry on using same aspect for races or characters that have existed since M1….

Radagast mounted, and the MS Isildur with long hair being the sole exception I think…

I’m agree with Gildor in all aspects of these comments… and I’m agree with our innkeeper about hobbits hair…. 😆 looks like they used too many special hobbit hairspray…. from Lobelia Sackville-Baggins private supply… !

I hadn’t recognised the link with Angus McBride’s interpretation of the woses and hobbits – I shall have to dig out the ICE books and take a look. But that would certainly explain it.

And, Master Thingol, don’t be too rude about Lobelia’s hairspray – it’s the secret ingredient of my Special Reserve scrumpy. Gives it that extra sticky quality.

the angus mcbride trolls are very different from chris tubb’s interpretation. while i like them, angus mcbride’s ones are the cream of the crop, in my opinion — not to mention the gw ones.

That makes it an extra shame that The Man didn’t stray from the McBride wild man and hobbit interpretations, if he was prepared to with the trolls! And yes, Master Cameosis, the ICE trolls are certainly impressive.

My scrumpy is just the same as every day. Whether that’s good or otherwise is a moot point. But it is a new barrel – the last one started to grow tentacles, so I thought I’d better throw it out.
