Thanks for the drink also, I have to finish my 1st one then.
October 8, 2011 at 1:22 pm #20607Huoommm … as for another matter, could anybody, please, explain why there had been that much disinterest visiting the Pony while Master Barliman left me in charge of it lately … ? … now at least that seems to be settled, as frequence is rising a bit again … rhuommm … then I witness another decline at the moment concerning suggestions on that official-Mithril-thing-board … rhuomm , that never was that poorly filled with suggestions …. rhuom … why not have a look at all the suggestion that have been made so far, instead of always trying to find a new suggestion? …. rhuoommm … there are so many good ideas still … huomm … why care about who first suggested this or that? … huom … it’s not important, believe me …. huomm … ? … err, well … I think it’s important to have a good choice (mind the menu of the Pony) … hom … better to have a list of nine to choose from than a poor three …. huommm … in case nothing happens I’m about to provoke again with my suggestion of a ‘female orc’ … rhuoommm … I doubt that you’ll want to have that old discussion being opened again …. ggggggggrrruûomm
October 8, 2011 at 1:50 pm #20611Absolutely nothing wrong with suggesting a female Orcs, Master Tree. Tolkien as good as says they existed (see “Peoples of Middle-earth”), so no debate is necessary. But I wonder what they’d have looked like.
October 8, 2011 at 2:06 pm #20614Huoomm … if Master Tolkien didn’t know … maybe The Man knows … huommmm

October 8, 2011 at 4:53 pm #20620Master Ent, I almost suggested Female Orc, but went with Girion again. I would love to see a version of a Female Orc from Chris!!!
October 9, 2011 at 1:27 pm #20630Huoommm … ah, yes … thank you … so it’s time to try again … rhuoommm … even matches the password to some extend …. rhuoomm … though … it could be the first female orc ever, as far as I know ….. huomm …. I know of that female troll once provided by “fenryll” but this might be a different matter …. rhuom …. so I will do, as I really do not like that choices run down …
huoommmm …October 9, 2011 at 6:20 pm #20647I think this post should be in the Great Library as it is to do with the database, but I wasn’t sure which would be the best section.
A thought/question: I have just identified M144 Riddles in the Dark which as you will guess depicts Bilbo and Gollum at their game of riddles. The reason for wanting to know is that I need a seated hobbit or two and I wasn’t sure if this would still be available. OK so far .
However before actually looking underneath the base to get the M number I did a search on the MMP database typing in the key words Bilbo, and when this did not reveal the identity I tried Gollum, still nothing. I then went upstairs and had a look underneath where I was then able to identify the release, and there it is listed on the database under Riddles in the Dark.
So my question/observation is, should M144 also be cross referenced with the search names Bilbo and Gollum so that anyone looking for either of these two characters will not miss it if they do not A. know the original name (I had forgotten), and B. did not know it existed in the first place.
Please move this to the appropriate section, but I hope pointing this out helps
Please ignore – I have just noticed that it comes up under the ‘related figures’ listings on the first image that showed (the 54mm version), Doh
October 9, 2011 at 8:29 pm #20649Er, right. So do you want another drink, or are you already befuddled enough?

In short, I thought the unthinkable, that the database was missing a reference 😎 How silly of me 😆
