Huoommmm … then today I received those PM3, PCH 1 and PCH 2 … highly recommendable, very fine figures, I’d say … huoommm … though assembling the small parts of PM3 means some challenge for my twigs … rhuoommm … hom

Fresh blackberries today…. in my part of Hobbiton blackberries also growing….in my village near by the forrest…. raspberries also… Tomorrow I will pick them in the thorny bushes a bit. And yes! We’ll do some muffins in the evening. Great idea dear Hobbit friend…. njum…slurp….

That’s late. The blackberries here in Bree have been and gone, and I can’t even remember the last time I saw raspberries growing anywhere round here. But when I was young there were gooseberries, greengages and even hops. Haven’t seen any of them growing in the wild since I was a child, and that’s….let’s say a while ago. Very sad. Damn intensive farming, crop-spraying and the destruction of hedgerows!! – unbelievably we’re losing close on 2,000 miles of hedgerows in this country every year….and it’s not even a very big country. Don’t even get me started…….
