rhuoommm … as I don’t want to be regarded as being too much critical about Mithril-matters … huom … I would like to add here, that I very much enjoy the way of how the figures of the HD2 were sculpted … rhuoommm … that’s brilliant … the different parts of each figure, being assembled to it, is poor joy … rhuoommm … they make them so much spaceseizing sculptures (!!!), not those flat ones … rhuom … a most brilliant bunch of Celts … rhuommm … I will not get back on commenting on the stunning shield-designs again … huoomm ….

ohoho! the pictufre is small, but the staff is quite something! good base and pose, too. he is haradan, so i suppose their nobles look different than westerling nobles.
February 23, 2012 at 9:05 am #23228I must admit I like the “pose” of Junast but I don’t like this strictly vertical shepherd crook…. there is something odd in such “geometrical” verticality… almost not natural… too “straight”…

Perhaps it is made of unbreakable stainless metal…. It must be sturdy, if it is a weapon and perk for sheeps….
Anyway… another nice figure
February 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm #23230Huuooommmm … Master Cameosis I also like the base very much … huommm … the one where one leg is bent because of resting on higher ground, some stones or rocks … rhuom … there are not many of those bases in the whole Mithril-range … hom … in all the old M-series there were just two figures, M274(Anarion) and M320(Elf girl) … rhuoommm? … HOM … then there was some kind of inflation of that kind of base in the LR-series … huommm … LR7(isildur) LR8(Cirdan) LR10(Gil-galad) LR11(Witch-King) LR13(Adunaphael) LR39(Elrohir) … rhuuûomm … before there was the Christmas-figure in 1995(King Arthur) … huom … also the first Mx had a similar base, MX421(Fram) … rhuommmm … now with this Junast it’s the second time that such a base is used after “my” MS555(Hirluin) … huomm … not counting LR37(Elrond) as his right leg is placed on stairs, not on rocks, you know … rhuoommm …
February 24, 2012 at 3:11 pm #23231hooomm … though … er, … what puzzles me a bit is how to get together this Junast (as far as the figure is recognizable in a poor picture) and his guard … rhuoomm … M79(Junast’s guard) that is … huoomm … the outward appearance seems to be extremely different … rhuomm … with this Junast The Man obviously keeps very close to the MERP-description, which is very fine indeed … huoomm … but how to match those two figures? … rhuoommm … I better wait until I have that Junast-figure in my hands, maybe it’ll tell me in private … rhuoommmm hom …
February 25, 2012 at 12:11 am #23232Absolutely right saying, Master Theo!
That´s the point I wanted to say. I see these figures WON´T fit together. And that´s a kind of odd. A missing chance.
So far I suppose my “warlord” concept will have a spare place . . .February 25, 2012 at 12:14 am #23233well, they’re called “junast’s guard” for a reason — he probably forgot to put on his armor and now they have to look after him!
February 25, 2012 at 10:23 am #23234Huooommmm … that makes very much sense, Master Cameosis, very much sense indeed … rhuoommm … and as for you, Master Turambar, you have so many concepts awaiting to be finished … huoom … so, why worry? … hoommm … so far there are only ideas and some concepts … hoouûm … just a lack of ideas … huomm … which never has been a problem at all …. huom …
February 29, 2012 at 9:23 pm #23278Today, I feel sad…
For the first time since I took the MMP in charge, I received a voluntary request of “erase account+ all posts” from one of our members
I don’t know the reasons but everybody is free to have such desire and depart for personal reasons indeed…
Actually all pictures had already been deleted by the user for quite some time it seems… Now the 93 posts that were related to this user are now totally erased as if he had never posted … (at his request) I’ll also erase manually his collection from the database…Farewell Quendil
We’ll miss you
February 29, 2012 at 10:12 pm #23279What a strange thing to do! It’s particularly strange that he gave no reason. Very odd. But as you say, Master Gildor, all one can do is say farewell.
February 29, 2012 at 10:12 pm #23280Some don´t!
February 29, 2012 at 11:01 pm #23282well he did not say farewell to me either… it was cold “remove my account and all posts , thank you” Gildor : “are you sure? Why?” Quendil : “yes I am sure, thanks” end of line…
mystery…. well, life goes on
March 1, 2012 at 6:28 am #23283No so mistery after have read some two-days-ago-posts deleted later… I think this, IMHO, was a non-proportional reaction to a misunderstanding on some posts regarding an ebay item… But well, life goes on, as you said. It a pity that we have lost Quendil for anything that, if you read carefully, it wasn´t absolutely a problem.
March 1, 2012 at 7:38 am #23284….Too bad! But each of us carries his own head full of emotion and reasons to be what we choose…in a special irrational moment…
March 1, 2012 at 8:19 am #23285….But aside from that theme. Today we have something more cheerful here.
Happy Birthday Master tree…. !!!!
March 1, 2012 at 8:50 am #23286Good heavens, you mean the tree is yet another four seasons older? Well done Master Tree, and may there be many more happy years to follow! If you wait a minute, I’ll fill your bowl with something better than water to celebrate….
March 1, 2012 at 9:01 am #23287Happy birthday for our wise tree
March 1, 2012 at 10:24 am #23288Happy Birthday, master Tree! Finally, are you more elder than Master Tom Bombadil? Many people think otherwise …..
March 1, 2012 at 11:19 am #23290what?! happy treeday!!!!
