I hope it was a good night!
April 4, 2012 at 9:29 am #23752. . . I still don麓t know . . .
There were two rat tails inside, Master Barliman . . .April 4, 2012 at 9:39 am #23754The stiff one’s a swizzle-tail, for you to stir your drink!
April 6, 2012 at 3:25 pm #23772Huuoommm … today I had some time to have a closer look at the pics of that upcoming Beregond-vignette … huoomm … what I think is that the official description, as it is provided by the Company, might not be sufficient concerning each detail … rhuuoommm … at least I can also witness in those pics the characteristic shield shape and design of a Swan-Knight footsoldier … huooommrhuomm … a very nice detail, meseems …. huomm … we’ll see soon, I hope …. rhuoommm … hom
April 6, 2012 at 10:29 pm #23773Your eyes are as sharp as ever, Master Tree. 馃槑
April 8, 2012 at 11:32 am #23776Huuoommmm … I wear glasses, Master Turambar … rh没om …. but what puzzles me a bit is that I just saw that the Halfling and the Goblins (PM5) offered on that Ebay-thing reads that there only 10 sets were available and by now are all sold … rhuom … er, as far as I can recall there has not been a limit for any other PM-figures so far …. rhuomm … except the note that PM1 isn’t available any more … rhuoommm … now, what is this? … huoomrhomhom?
April 8, 2012 at 12:05 pm #23777Huoomm … so business doesn’t seem to be brisk at the moment, Master Barliman … huoomm … Easter time? … er, yes, it is … huommrh没om … that’s why I’ll have some scrambled eggs with fresh baerlauch with a nice bowl of clear-clean-honey-coloured-but-non-sparkeling-but-watery-liquid, please … huoomm … goes together well … huom … yes, scrambled, not boiled, please … huomm … I remember that you tend to drop eggs before they meet the boiling water … huoomm … so it’s much more easier then to brush them up from the floor into a pan and scramble them, if you know what I mean … rhuoommm … well, better take a large pan, please, as Master Milo is very fond of scrambled eggs … huomm … as far as I know … h么um? … just drop some more so to have the pan have its fill … huoommm … see, this is a very simple recipe from Ents …. hooooommmmm …..
April 8, 2012 at 1:32 pm #23778Well, the eggs are all hidden around the garden – isn’t that the custom at this time of year? (Well, it is for most of the year if you have free-range chockens, like we do at the Pony.) If you can find them, then I’ll cook them.
Interesting what you say about PM5 – that wasn’t mentioned in the email, as far as I can recall.
April 8, 2012 at 4:09 pm #23779Huoommm … now what is this, Master Barliman? … I gave away a very Entish recipe how to boil or scramble eggs … huommm … then you tell me that I have first to find them eggs in your garden … huoomm .. that’s exactly the way to run a public place like the Pony … r没omm … let the trustworthy regulars bring their own eggs, or better let them search in the garden, where there are not any eggs hidden …. rhuoommm …. I didn’t order cooked eggs, scrambled, I said, not stirred … huom … alas, next time I better take me own watery-things and eggs over here so that you can mark that on my tab, right? … huom?
April 8, 2012 at 6:29 pm #23780Sorry, Master Tree, I thought you’d enjoy a strioll round the garden, communing with nature, in order to work up an appetite.

April 11, 2012 at 11:06 pm #23796Mmmhh, no posts there . . .
Well, I am struggeling with a lot of photos taken from my last project . . .
That makes me real thirsty indeed.
Please Master Barkeep, may you serve me a “after midnight” drink.
If I remember right, Master Thingol will pay for all drinks of mine, is it right?!So- if you like, join me . . .
April 12, 2012 at 6:16 am #23797Isn’t it always “after midnight” to some extent? It’s just a case of how long after. (I never understood that bit in the Gremlins movies about not feeding them after midnight…) So we’ll just call this seven and a bit hours after midnight, and then I can sit and have a drink with you!
April 12, 2012 at 10:51 am #23798If you are still here I’ll join you – a package arrived today with a certain Beregond getting hammered by a troll, so I’ll celebrate its arrival (along with some other friends
).
Initial inspection is of a very nice set – the troll is smaller than some of the older troll releases – more akin to
M443 Dagorhir “The Warlord” & MS536 Half-Troll Angmar standard-bearer, but then it is still a very nicely done figure.Guess I had better get priming , Well done Barli for an excellent suggestion.
p.s. It is now 11 hours and fiftyfive minutes after midnight
April 12, 2012 at 11:03 am #23799Or twelve hours and five minutes before midnight if you want to feed your gremlin.
April 12, 2012 at 12:19 pm #23800Huuooommmm … I always tend to say it’s around midnight … h没omm … so, glad to hear that the troll is nice, Master Ddaines … huommm … I guess I can have a closer look at that very soon …. rhuoommhom … as for you, Master Turambar, I think you deserved a good drink around midnight … huomhomrhuom … I’m very keen on the pics of your latest project, indeed … huom … but just don’t haste, please …. huooommm …
April 12, 2012 at 3:40 pm #23803Riddles are back, I like this !
Mater Barliman ! please some ale for the thirsty talkative hobbit and a clear bowl of…. for anyone else. 馃槅
April 12, 2012 at 4:25 pm #23805Huuoommm … must be “Master”, not “Mater”, please, Master Milo …. huoommm … you won’t like to offend our dear barkeep, right? … huoommm … anyway, thanks a lot for that bowl-of-you-know-what … huoomm … as for riddles … ahem, once they’re back they’re useless, you know …. huom … same old riddles again and again … huommm …
