Bon anniversaire (un peu en retard) Christophe.
Barliman, I hope Nob did not forget it’s time for having sunday 2nd breakfast ! May I request a piece of this nice birthday chocolate cake also ?
May 20, 2012 at 7:28 am #24199well it remains one year less toward youth and things long gone/past that won’t be possible again … don’t take attention upon my melancholy
May 23, 2012 at 8:42 am #24204mmhh is it me or the mithril community and activity is currently in some sort of stasis or hibernation? it seems as if… everything was slowed down…
I feel a bit anxious about the general mood/inactivity. Does it hide something negative ?
May 23, 2012 at 9:10 am #24205I was thinking much the same thing. I think the holiday season has begun to have an impact – a little earlier than usual, perhaps – as has the absence of any news or any new figures other than the occasional MS model. For myself, the current month’s suggestions haven’t enthused me sufficiently to vote at all. (But then, you’ll remember that I’m not a ‘fan’ of the themed months the Michael foists upon us all too often!)
May 23, 2012 at 12:24 pm #24206well, having a bellydancer could prove sexy sexy… a bit off topic but refreshing nonetheless
May 23, 2012 at 12:37 pm #24207Well, I suppose Middle-earth may have had belly-dancers if its subcreation had ever progressed to that depth of cultural detail, but I wonder what the slightly prudish, old-fashioned, ultra-conservative Tolkien would have thought of them?
May 23, 2012 at 12:54 pm #24208And on another matter, The Man’s latest rendition of Halbarad is yet another classic. At the moment Chris just can’t go wrong! Has he started eating three Weetabix every day? (Er, I’m not sure that translates beyond the boundaries of Bree…)
May 23, 2012 at 7:37 pm #24209Hello everyone! It has been a long time. I just needed to take a break from miniatures for a bit. A round of drinks for everyone!
May 23, 2012 at 8:11 pm #24210Ah, a man with money at last! Welcome back, Master Marshal.
But a break from miniatures? Do you mean there’s life beyond minis? Sorry, can’t get my mind round the concept…
May 23, 2012 at 10:56 pm #24211if only you knew master butterburr… if only you knew…
May 24, 2012 at 12:58 pm #24212Thanks for the drink Jason !
I’m glad to see you here again. Cheers
May 24, 2012 at 2:41 pm #24213Huuoommm … a free drink is always welcome, Master Jdbrown55, thank you very much … huom
May 25, 2012 at 5:57 am #24216Nice to see you Jason. I will join you in that drink.
May 27, 2012 at 7:54 am #24224Hi Barliman.
Guess what…Sunday almost 10a.m…Time for 3rd Breakfast ! 😆
Kschink…
May 27, 2012 at 7:58 am #24225Your watch is fast, Master Milo – here in Bree it’s only nine o’cock, so you’ll just have to wait!
May 27, 2012 at 7:59 am #24226…By the way, I sent you some people on bikes at the beginning of the week. Did they arrive yet?
May 27, 2012 at 8:07 am #24228Oops, sorry, In France, we have 1 hour shift…I will have a earl grey tea until then please.

I did not see postman yesterday, I hope he will come tomorrow. For sure I’ll let you know. 😎
May 28, 2012 at 7:25 pm #24244Huoommmm …. Breeish bicycles to Croatia? … very strange that is, isn’t it? … huomm … sometimes I wonder what’s happening, in case something really is happening …. huoomm … anyway, Mistress Sevlag is about to refurbish her Pony-diorama with some trodden wargskins at the threshold, that’s where they should be …. rhuoommm … Master Turambar has again finished another great (grand) diorama in such a short time … rhuomtodômmm …. our Travelling Elrond has been packed …. hom … (not including that cat) … huuuûom … hom … The Man is busy with some vignettes, meseems … rhuomm … that Haradrim bellydancer will win the race … houmoummm … any more rumours your are keen on? … huomm … did my very best today, again, so to say …. me, the tree
and as for that, Master Barliman, my cat has learned to speak by now … he can express himself very well – though we still have to find out what is a noun, an adjective or a verb …. rhuoommm …. next year there’ll be an extra teaching in rhetoric for him … you really cannot haste a cat, can you? … so such matters take time, and time cannot be hasted, as far as I know … huoomm.May 28, 2012 at 7:44 pm #24245But cats certainly try to hasten it, so that the gap between meals gets ever shorter. Mine is badgering me even as I sit here – after all, he got fed as long as an hour ago, and thinks that it’s about time for his plate to miraculously refill again.
May 28, 2012 at 8:45 pm #24246That’s wrong, Master Barliman, cats do not haste at all … huoomm … they’re just in search of that miraculously-refill -thing … holy grail, or something of that sort … rhuoomm … the problem is, that you really don’t know where it is or might be … rhuomm … though cat knows, that you should provide him with that re-filling-bowl-thing … huoomm … and it doesn’t matter where you take that bowl from … must be filled, that’s all … rhuooumm …. alas, by now I’m pretty much fed up with Hajo-Pai, as he still insists on some food … rhuomm … know, I told him that there are mice and birds outside …. huoommm … cats are strange, aren’t they …. huom
