Oups sorry, I missed a round yesterday.
About friendship, I had 22 kids + 27 parents at home on sunday for “boussduf dingue” (translate Milo’s crazy day).
Very good time this was to see so many hobbits around:

Nothing to do with futebal. Just pleasure to share friendship and good drinks.😎

I did some magic tricks for little ones:

June 25, 2014 at 5:49 pm #30734The best magic trick my dear friend
is to put smile on the kids faces…
June 27, 2014 at 2:46 am #30742One more exam of this term.
One.
Spent the day inside (it was gorgeous out). Occasionally took breaks from dull tome of Political Science to paint the last few plastic dwarves.
My rather expensive Winsor and Newton Series 7 fell off the desk. I reached for it. It rolled away. I grabbed for it. It rolled under the radiator and then fell behind the little gap between the hardwood flooring and the wall.
So yes, I spent about half an hour on this last day before the exams, flat on the floor teasing a paintbrush out of a mysterious crack.
Those cracks are lethal. I lost some decapitated mithril heads in my old place that way. Still sad about that :p
June 27, 2014 at 7:31 am #30743Look upon it as some sort of Zen exercise to calm the mind prior to the trauma of exam day. Or perhaps as an obscure metaphor for life…
June 27, 2014 at 4:13 pm #30745I am going with obscure metaphor, meself.
Finished the damn dwarves today. Between the not-great plastic casting and the Army Painter spray primer faintly melting some of the features, I feel like I have accomplished some sort of vague ordeal, rather than creating something I can brag about.
But maybe I’ll get some amusing battles out of it. Or they’ll go into a case and disappear from consciousness. One of those :p
Right, off to the final exam I go. And then nine whole days of not-school. Nine! Will bike a lot and write like a maniac.
June 27, 2014 at 11:03 pm #30746huoommm … wishing you all the best …
June 28, 2014 at 6:10 am #30747Good ride master gavIn.
June 28, 2014 at 6:11 am #30748Hi barliman,
Time for a nice breakfast before cycling.June 28, 2014 at 7:32 am #30749Well, Master Gavin, I hope the day went well!
June 28, 2014 at 3:34 pm #30750huoommm … so do I …
June 28, 2014 at 4:49 pm #30751Went okayyiish.
Part of the issue is that, outside of my comfort zone – history – things get a bit messy. I’ll still know everything, still construct essays well, but something essential won’t quite be there. Do I address the dominant theories, can I rattle off details that someone in that field might know better? I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the difference between Tudor and Renaissance architecture as it exist in Montreal… and all I can say is I think some architect told the commissioning people “this is really Tudor, honest, gov”
Yesterday in the PoliSci exam, I was desperately trying to remember Weber’s three essential factors for legitimate statehood. I could manage two :p
Anyway, I am quite content in the knowledge that lots of people quit early and stormed out and I hung around like a good little student to the very end. I also dressed up for the occasion.
June 28, 2014 at 4:57 pm #30752Now that’s class.
June 28, 2014 at 8:21 pm #30753huooommm … calm down a bit, Gavin …. and have a bowl of that clear-clean-watery- liquid … huomm …
June 28, 2014 at 9:07 pm #30754Or a large scrumpy
June 29, 2014 at 1:56 pm #30755Either works, yes.
In the end, I scrubbed down the bathroom, did the groceries and worked on editing someone’s webpage content. Oh well
June 29, 2014 at 3:46 pm #30757huoommm … so you need a rest, Master Gavin, don’t you … huom … and so do I …. hûommrhuom … hom
