Does he really wash them that often? 馃槅
October 10, 2016 at 7:22 pm #35179Not that I’ve noticed.
October 10, 2016 at 7:26 pm #35180So I can leave them unpainted for now I guess….
October 12, 2016 at 2:03 pm #35190Huoommm … of course, Master Caster … hm … some wargskins obviously were mixed up, right ? … hom … as there are virtual and real wargskins meseems … huom
… as for a completely different matter, I forgot to ask around here … huommhom … did anyone, having received the three new releases, witness any difference compared with releases before? … hooom? …. I did not, and I think that’s fine … hm … so many words of praise have been spilled because of the newly adapted technological improvement of sculpting figures … rhuoom … allowing to sculpt more precisely and giving the chance of reveiling even more details, etc. etc. pp. …. huom ….
alas, to be honest, I received three very nice and detailed figures that fit well into the Mithril ranges …. rh没om … though, of course, there’s always some criticism I have, but that is about a different matter … huoooommmm …October 13, 2016 at 10:21 am #35201I think they have adapted these last three references, that’s because they have been renamed back to regular “MS” not MZ” so I think they are somewhat a bridge in between regular MS and the future MZ.
All of these I say without having the refrences in hand, just for what they published on prince august and newsletters….
Which is the reference that came finally inscribed in their bases dear Master ent?October 13, 2016 at 11:24 am #35202oh they simple read “M” … huom … don’s ask me why, as obviously they’re not parts of the old regular M-series … huooom … very strange or confusing to me …. hom
October 13, 2016 at 12:12 pm #35203Let’s hope it isn’t an admission that the old M series is over for ever….

Cheers guys !
October 13, 2016 at 9:44 pm #35205huoomm … you forgot about LO, MX and LT, Master Thingol, but right you are … rhu么m … it’s just the number … though one is double … huoomm … anyway … cheers
October 14, 2016 at 6:39 pm #35208Hi master Barliman,
I am just back from 3 hard weeks with hard work, hard diners, long long october fest…I am exhausted and need to rest here for a while.
Could you prepare me diner & bedroom please ?October 14, 2016 at 7:21 pm #35211Ah, I was wondering where you were, Master Milo. I can certainly get you a diner, but eating a whole one would be very tiring, so I’ll get you a dinner instead. Plus a pint of my speial scrumpy, of course (the one without any rat tails in it).
October 15, 2016 at 6:54 am #35213Merci Barli !
And…yes dinner was much better.
Now it’s time for starting 2nd breakfast isn’t it ?October 15, 2016 at 7:04 am #35214Theobald wrote:Huoommm …

I agree I do not see many casting difference compared to previous releases
Final result seems to be standard, plus more little details on clothes and faces, still details are not very easy to notice.
Now I wonder also if primer thickness could be responsible for the “low details” aspect.
I know master maenas removes primer for painting.
It may be usefull for these 3 to have a try and provide thinner primer.October 15, 2016 at 8:01 am #35215Milo wrote:Hi master Barliman,I am just back from 3 hard weeks with hard work, hard diners, long long october fest…I am exhausted and need torest here for a while.
Slurp ! ….. nice work indeed This kind of vacation is perfect for the one true hobbit ;.)
October 15, 2016 at 12:15 pm #35216I received them and looked closely on the Easterling Champion… the texture of the mail and the belt is definitly more detailed and there is something more “straight” or artificial in it (the repetition of mail rings or the belt motif) which indicates it is not made by hand
It is very very small detail, and only in texture but the overall aspect remains the same… Which actually is great I was afraid it would LOOSE quality, not gain…. the gain is mainly in the production process and the logistics behind it… No more masters no more need to send packages between Chris (in England) and Mithril (in Ireland) you can reproduce masters whenever you want…
That’s a great behind the scene improvment which drastically reduces the cost in the end, without loosing quality in the final resultOctober 15, 2016 at 3:56 pm #35217huoomm … as I said before I’m glad that there is not too much obvious differnence to releases bofore … rhu么m … well, I don’t know if there “are more little details on clothes and faces”, Master Milo … huom … and I don’t think the primer used with the figures does hide or cover many details … huomm … well, Master Gildor, I guess you’re right about certain improvements concerning the process of production before the castings in a mould start … huom … but I think it will not reduce costs “drastically”, I’m afraid … huom … but to be honest, us trees do not know very much about such matters … rh么om …
October 15, 2016 at 5:54 pm #35218it won’t at first because they have to make a return on investment and thus they won’t reduce the price even if it costs less to produce… but after some time it could make the figurines less expensive… because it provides control over batches of production and stock management
October 16, 2016 at 5:24 pm #35219Just arrived back with my wife from a stay with some good friends at a cabin in the beautiful countryside of New Hampshire. Nothing like being with friends and enjoying nature’s beauty. Now I wouldn’t mind a nice draft good man Barliman.
October 16, 2016 at 6:20 pm #35220I guess I could use one too!
October 16, 2016 at 6:27 pm #35221Who’s paying?
