It is an excellent idea, Wendy!, one grain of sand to give publicity to our beloved MithrilAh, good idea. Here it is:

June 25, 2009 at 4:51 pm #5925Re the MX news. I think this is the perfect project, almost the start of the whole affair that sets the tone for all that follows and a scene I have always wished for. So good on yer, Master Tree, I guess Bombour will push the price up though
Will they be eating Bilbo’s cakes and drinking his tea and ale or playing music instruments and singing “Over the Misty Mountains cold…..”.
June 25, 2009 at 5:50 pm #5926Still not too sure where the announcement of a Bombur being added to the Mithril range fits in with all this. Does anyone know more?
June 25, 2009 at 6:17 pm #5927I guess he meant that with this MX vignette/mini diorama we’ll at last get Bombour as a Mithril release (as well as the rest of the vertically challenged chaps) as part of this MX set and not as a general MS release though, but looking at the current vote we may get him even sooner.
That’s how I read it anyhow

There is already another “fan”
…. Now, to publicize it!

That’ll teach me to read things properly before opening my mouth and putting my foot in it.
June 25, 2009 at 8:51 pm #5930Huooommmmm …. I think your guess is right Master Ddaines … huom … so you have read the chapter in the Hobbit again … rhuoommm … yes, they will do all that, I hope …. huoomm …
I also like the idea of some of the other “vertically challenged chaps”, as you like to call them, to see the light …. rhuoommm … some of them have always been forgotten when it was about suggesting new ideas on the Gold Fellowship Board …. rhuuoom … indeed I cannot remember any suggestions for Dwalin, Bifor or Ori and others … rhuoommmhuom … well, that’s what I think about this …. huommmmmmJune 25, 2009 at 9:03 pm #5931Huoommmm … rhuoommm … yes, having a closer look at words isn’t bad at all, Master Barliman … rhuoommm … but what about that putting your foot in your mouth … rhuom … I don’t understand … huom … doesn’t make sense to me … rhuoomm … anyway … take your time and re-read that chapter again, it’s worth it … huoououommm
Huoommm … Master Ddaines, I don’t think that you “will get him sooner” … that MS-Bombur, I mean … rhuoommmtodomtiddelydom …June 25, 2009 at 9:07 pm #5932Theobald wrote:. rhuoommmtodomtiddelydom …Our friend Morlas has a nest in the hole of his mouth ….. You are not well understood …..
June 25, 2009 at 9:09 pm #5933Working on the principle of low long an MS takes to appear at the moment, I assume Master Tree? So you mean then that the MX element containing Bombur will be with us earlier than that time-span? Hmmm (or ‘Huoommm’, as the Tree might say…), very interesting.
Oh, and the foot in the mouth thing doesn’t translate from the Bree dialect, then? I never thought of that.
June 26, 2009 at 1:37 am #5934Ok. I joined the Facebook group. See you there.
June 26, 2009 at 8:42 am #5935I feel encouraged and joined also. Seems to be a fine thing . . .
June 26, 2009 at 12:16 pm #5936yea, why not. I’ll give it a try too!
June 26, 2009 at 1:19 pm #5937If you want to be added as my friend, Holger, you will have the possibility to see interesting things . . .
Thank you Wendy, for supporting this.June 26, 2009 at 1:42 pm #5938Hmm, I always like friend, but I have no idea how this facebook works and have to consult my doughter in that matter.
She should know, because that is all she ever does when she’s home….June 26, 2009 at 1:46 pm #5939Modern technology? Bah humbug. Facebook? Never even looked at it. Grumble grumble grumble.
But seriously, what’s it all about? Can it serve people virtual scrumpy? (which is all my scrumpy is anyway).
June 26, 2009 at 1:56 pm #5940A book with a face????
That reminds me on a very bad horror movie of the eigthies, an evil minded book called Necronomicon…..something from the Dark Lord, me thinks.
June 26, 2009 at 2:09 pm #5941Wasn’t Johnny Depp’s ‘The Ninth Gate’ based on that one? (Good movie – like everything with Johhny Depp in it – but a bit weird.)
June 26, 2009 at 2:10 pm #5942I’m registered, but that is as far as I got:lol:
B%$)*y h@^l.. There are really a lot of faces… haven’t found the book so far… all these “friends” i don’t even know…..
What can I say, very strange place indeed Master Barliman. I rather stay in the Pony and have a nice furball/ratail scrumpy! -
