A side note for all, Jim Corless of Time Machine miniatures is closing out his lines of the old Gondor and Orc warband minis. First come first serve I guess, so if anyone is interested in picking up a few extra of those, now would be the time.

That’s sad news. Fortunately I don’t need any myself at the moment, but it’s a shame that they’re not going to be around any more for those odd occasions when extras might be needed.

It’s sad because I was vaguely considering buying another set of each for my eventually Pelennor Fields diorama.

I might ask him to save me two sets and see if he’ll let me pay in October…

In all my dealings with Jim, he has always been courteous, accommodating, and upfront. He is the single and only reason I was reintroduced to Mithrils and became aware of the vast collection of unparalleled miniatures that had been produced (and are still being produced!)

It wouldn’t hurt to ask!

Looking at the cup being half-full rather than half-empty, the fact that his range was available for as long as it was is something we should be thankful for. My three regiments of Orc archers would have been more boring (and more expensive!) but for the existence of the Time Machine range and Jim’s preparedness to knock them out when I needed them. I hope he’s not also going to discontinue the 54mm range? I don’t collect this scale, but it would be sad if the world at large was deprived of their existence permanently.

On a happier note, I’m glad to see that the mounted Radagast figure won this month’s GF poll. Can’t remember who suggested it, but well done and congratulations, whoever you were. And it would be nice to see the cat in his saddle-bag, as Master Holger suggested!

mmhh I plan to ask this little Nob to do some changes and ameliorations maybe for the 100th page I suppose. Maybe a new taproom is in order we’ll see

for the time being well it’s not often that I share rumors, I prefer sharing facts… but well , some rumors are good too indeed master tree… so master butterbur…. I think I need something fresh, a cider maybe? as I think to have heard rumours of a big bearded and hairy man angry with a hammer in his hand to show his face in not too long… but you know, with these rumors we never know… well what was I asking… ah yes… a cider! a pint please

Well, I have, but I think the green is mildew. Still, that will probably give you some protection against the fermenting gunk in the cider.

I meant to say a couple of days ago, by the way, that The Man mentioned in his email to me regarding the Mw346 sale that he’s been “recently distracted by some quality issues” at the factory. He didn’t enlarge, but could this explain the apparent delay in the appearance of Helm’s Deep set 2, do you think? Does anybody know more?

I know that following the pictures I sent to the man reguarding bard and the last of the tree trolls he had to investigate on many things reguarding quality process.. he was to go to the factory on the end of july… I suppose he may have been upset by what he saw/learned…. who knows…

Huoommm … upset he was indeed, as far as I know as he didn’t know about some matters … before he decided to travel to the factory … rhuoommm … that’s what I know and can tell … homrhuoomm … some complaints from an Elf and aTree must have caused some anger …
